Not great

High on the noise, low on the sharpness. At full size, the images are terrible looking. Manual settings only improve this slightly. Took mine back. Will have to wait for the next gen or buy a used 50D. Very disappointed.

when i use this canon 60d camera to take pics by using L imgage quality. the outcome of the pic shows somehow over bright and blur. for a semi professional camera, it should not has this problem.
Pros: good battery life, Nice features/settings, Quick Start-up time, Bright LCD, Lightweight/Portable, easy to use
Cons: Poor image quality

Disappointed

I like the feel and controls. I'm fast with them but the camera slows me down. I shoot manual with the exception of AF. AF is slow and unreliable. It's a cool camera for a studio, but just awful for any action. Don't use it any dust area, to include pollen, it is not constructed for any kind of weather. I have spent a lot on this, for me, and I spend more time trying to keep it clean than using it. If I'm not shooting inside or from my car, I just use my iPhone.

Not for photographers!

I returned this camera five times to Canon because of poor and inconsistent focus, especially upsetting after purchasing the 70-300 L lens! Even today, it only works on spot focus and exposure, and only in Landscape or Sports settings. The A setting has never worked, i.e., always 4-5 stops overexposed. I wish Canon focused on producing a camera for photographers as the video and Live View features are totally useless to me doing wildlife and sports photography. How bright is it to provide a Rule of Thirds Grid in live view, but not in the viewfinder where it is needed? Possibly the dumbest feature is providing symbols, but not the copyright symbol!
Pros: good battery life
Cons: Dim LCD, Shaky operation, Missing features/settings, Poor image quality, noisy, Slow Start-up time, Heavy/Bulky

Best camera I ever owned

I bought this camera because I wanted something better. I have accomplished that. I wanted something that was not too expensive. I am not the worlds best at telling you what is good or bad pictures. I not to fond of the push button on top of the selector switch. I can use it with no problem. I am very pleased with what I got. I would like to have a 7D. It is more expensive. not in my price range.
Pros: good battery life, quiet, Superior build quality, easy to use
Cons: Heavy/Bulky
I would recommend this to a friend!
