I can't believe how much of a difference getting the series 7 made. Cut shaving time in half. It is one amazing product. In my mind well worth the price. I was debating this one vs the senso touch 3d, and I believe I chose right this time. Such a high quality product. Braun has a customer for life.

Had a norelco prior to this that constantly irritated my neck. This gives a closer shave with no irritation. A bit expensive to purchase and maintain....but overall good.

What's great about it: Good shave. Like the cleaning system
What's not so great: Spendy but worth it.
After buying numerous 'cheap' electric shavers only to have them die at a young age, I gave in and bought this razor. I have only had it a short time but the shave it delivers is great.
A little on the spendy side but if I had all the money back I spent on the cheap ones it would have been a wash.
If you have any doubt because of the price don't. Buy it.

What's great about it: Design, self cleaning station, closeness of shave, the quality of the blades, the charge hold

Based on some of the reviews online I was not very sure if I really wanted to spend that much money on a shaver. I was still using a 7 year old Panasonic shaver of a similar style so I already knew that my face was used to this type of shaver so I already knew that if I was going to buy a new one, this would be it. But spending this much money required that I was completely sure about it, so I must have read just about every review about it on this website and by the time I read the one about this shaver being a gift to a 70 or 80 year old man and how much he loved it, and how gentle it was on his skin, I knew I was sure about it. If you can afford to spend the money, you need to buy this one. One other side note about this shaver is that it does come with a self cleaning dock that does require cartriges to be replaced according to how often you use the self cleaning function. Each pack costing about 10-15 dollars for two of them will add a slight extra expense, but trust me, coming from a person who thought I would only use the self cleaning function once a week. I completely changed my mind about it after the first use. If you are going to spend this much money on a shaver you better take care of it as much as you can, specially if you do not buy the guarantee (which I did, and I would strongly recommend you do to because its a Replacement guarantee) The bottom line is that I did a lot of research about electric shavers and this is one of, if not the best you can buy.

What's great about it: no irritation, self cleaning
What's not so great: price, loud when cleaning
Having used Gilette Mach3 blades for years, I was nervous transitioning to an electric razor, especially being able to get a close shave and not getting a rash on my neck as it is pretty sensitive. I've been using this razor for about 2 months now and I find it fantastic! Really close shave all over, using it 7 days a week without irritation. It is expensive though and I'm glad I bought it on sale but the self cleaning mechanism is useful, loud but useful and I really notice a difference once it has been cleaned.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have had three previous Braun shavers that I found to be great. This one is by far the best I have ever had. Comfortable, close shave with no irritation and multitude of features. Very Satisfied

What's great about it: Very easy on sensitive skin
What's not so great: Expensive
I have a tough beard and sensitive skin, so shaving regularly is miserable. I have used a few rotary shavers over the years but they always tore up my neck so bad that I eventually stopped using them. I have been using a blade razor every three or four days because that is as often as I could shave comfortably.
I bought this shaver a little over 3 weeks ago and have shaved with it every day and have experienced a close shave with no skin irritation at all. I highly recommend this shaver; it is certainly expensive but if you have sensitive skin it is completely worth it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

What's great about it: Very comfortable shave. Great on neck hair.
What's not so great: Still a little pricey. But it IS a Braun.
I have used my old Braun 5 series for about 10 years and it finally gave up the ghost, so I decided to bite the bullet and see if this shaver is as good as the hype or not.
I am a picky buyer and if I spend a lot of money on a product I demand a high quality product that does an excellent job. That being said, I had no doubt that this Braun would work very well on my face, but what about those pesky wild neck hairs that my old Braun never did catch up to. I would have to use a cheapie razor to get a clean neck.
Well I was pleasantly surprised. I thought my old Braun was comfortable but this is the most comfortable shave I have ever had. I let my beard grow for 3 days before the maiden voyage of my new BRAUN. Pretty thick beard .... NO PROBLEM. Pesky neck hairs .... Lo and behold, I discovered that if you hold the shaver upside down .... NO PROBLEM.
Give the new Braun a try. I don't think that you will be disappointed. Braun gives you 60 days to decide, so what have you got to lose?

What's not so great: You will have to continue to spend $$ on the cleaning solution
I purchased this shaver after doing a good bit of research. My husband is African American and tends to have a hard time finding a shaver that won't eventually cause him to get pseudofolliculitis. A lot of the reviews said that this shaver was awesome for sensitive skin and for any color skin so I figured we'd give it a try. Yes, it is a little on the expensive side but to me it was worth it. His shaving time has been cut in half. The shaver is also self-cleaning so he doesn't have to worry about taking the time to clean it anymore. The only thing I don't like is that you will continue to have to purchase the cleaning solution. The shaver comes with one and once that's gone....you're on your own. We've had the shaver for about 5 weeks now and we haven't had to replace it yet but I'm sure it's almost out.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am one of those people that hates shaving. I have a pretty thick beard and I did not like to take the time to shave. I've tried Norelcos in the past with no luck. They tended to irritate my skin. For the longest time I used a beard trimmer to maintain my facial hair instead of shaving. I took a chance with Braun Series 7 and I was not disappointed. This thing is amazing. It does the job it was designed for every well and the best part no irritation or razor bumps. Shaving only takes 4 minutes. Once i'm done I drop it in the cleaning station and it cleans itself. No mess, no worries about maintaining the trimmer. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to replace their razor.

Needed to buy a new electric razor . Took a chance on this Braun . Was having surgery on my left arm and hand . I am left handed and use it for shaving . I could not use a blade easily with my right arm ... so I decided to try an electric shaver . I have used electric shavers over the years ; but always seem to go back to a blade . Tried a few Norelco's but was disappointed as it was simply not as close as a blade . I returned the Norelco's ; and bit the bullet ... I bought the Braun 760cc . Perhaps as good as a blade . It is very comfortable on the skin and gave me a very close shave without any sort of irritation right from day one . This could very well be the very best electric shaver on the market and well worth the money .
I would recommend this to a friend!

Background
I have only used a Gillette Fusion Razor previous to owning my Braun 760. I have to be dressed professionally for work everyday so i am shaving quite often. I could get away with shaving 2 or 3 times a week, about every other day. My hair does not grow back that fast, and only gets mildly thick after about 4 days of not shaving.

Battery Life
Absolutely great! I only charge this thing every other week after moderate use. The battery lasts and lasts. great point about charging is that you can plug the cord directly into the charger, it doesn't have to charge on the base.

Shave
I think it does a great job. Now let me also say that it took about 3 weeks of shaving for my hair/face to adapt to the shaver. This might sound stupid, but it's true. The first few weeks, shaving took 10-15 minutes. It was very repetitive and a bit frustrating. But the more I used the shaver, not only did i become more comfortable with it, but I am able to get a closer shave now. It's like the hair grows in, in such a way to make the shaver more efficient.
My advice is to follow the directions on how to hold the shaver etc (again it seems like a no brainer but it helps to avoid frustration) and to give this shaver at least 30 days of trial. Braun gives you a 60 day guarantee, so you can always back out.
I have to shave about every other day in order to keep everything smooth.

I had high hopes for this razor, but the results are disapponting. I've owned a number of different Norelco, Braun and Panasonic razors over the years including both rotary and foil designs. I realize that you have to pay for a good quality razor, but this one just doesn't live up to the advertising claims. I have used it for about 3 weeks and it does produce a good quality close shave - If you've got plenty of time on your hands. The razor takes at least twice as long as other razors I've had in order to get adequate results. In addition, the trimmer is designed so that the placement of it is in an unusual place on the razor making it more tedius to use than other designs. In the end, it's not worth the extra money, so save yourself a few bucks and go with something else.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a great machine for men with sensitive skin. The ability to personalize this shaving machine to meet the individual needs of the consumer, truly makes it worth its weight in gold. Compared to other shavers, this machine does not cause skin irritation.
The only downside so far is that the cleaning fluid cartridge needs to be replaced too often.

What's not so great: Need to get used to holding the razor at 90 degrees to shave correctly
I purchased this because I have extremely bad ezcema and everytime I shaved with a regular razor my skin gets red and scaley for about a week. After using it for the first time I was just amazed at how close the shave was, honestly it was better then when I used a regular razor, and how great my skin felt afterwards.
I was a little nervous about buying it since I have heard good and bad things abotu electric razors but I'll tell you, it was worth every penny!
I looked all over the internet looking for someone with my skin issues but no one really answered my questions so I figured I'd write a review after using the product.
It is expensive but if you're like me with terrible eczema all over your face it is worth the money...plus it looks awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!
