Me and my wife totally love this ref. We remodeled our kitchen and with our custom cabinets; the counter depth look really gave it a built in look. People would walk in and see our new kitchen and the first compliment is always the great looking ref. Although once in a while I have to open the ice compartment and shake the bin since the ice is stuck occasionally and would not dispense. I totally recommend this counter depth fridge for anyone who would remodel and install brand new custom kitchen cabinets.

I like the pull out tray in the bottom freezer. The space for tall bottles does not really work well for more than 1-2 bottles...but thats the trade off for counter depth which I love. The design seems to have maximized every possible place and although I love the icemaker IN the door - I need to be careful what I put on that side of the fridge as I have had a few items freeze in the fridge. I had same issue with another side by side fridge so its a typical issue I guess...trade off for having ice in the door!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My top two needs for this refrigerator purchase were counter depth and quiet. This satisfies both nicely.
Very happy with it overall but need to find a good stainless cleaner for the fingerprints. Wouldn't have chosen stainless if our other appliances weren't that and new in the house we purchased

LG French Door Refrigerator

I have never owned an LG appliance before. My local store had this beautiful french door fridge on sale and I needed a slim space design. The warranty for this product was enough for me to purchase. What I like best is the convenience of a full open refrigerator that a french door provides. Awesome! By putting the ice maker assembly in the door, I have even more room. Everything slides and glides effortlessly. The motor purrs like a kitten. Sleek and spotless, easy to program...just what I was looking for! Thanks LG!

This is the first refrigerator of this style we have purchased and we love it. The features are well thought out and very functional. Inside design is flexible and very funtional. The bottom drawer freezer design is new to us and takes some getting use to. We love it now that we have actually used it
Very satisfied..so we also bought an LG washer and dryer...
Would recommend without any qualifications.

very quiet and easy to clean

I have had this refrigerator for 1 1/2 years. In general, I like it very much but here are the problems:
1) The ice cubes stick together and I have to open the hatch on the door and pound on the container to break them up.
2) Visitors ALWAYS spill water out of the dispenser because the put the glass under the ice dispenser and push on the water dispenser plate. Great idea for filling pitchers but not so great otherwise.
3) I had to turn off the Energy Savings mode because of moisture between the doors...What is the use in having it?
4) Magnets won't stick to the front of it!
5) Added expense for cabinet depth. What is up with that?? less refrig, more money...All brands are like that.

What I like:
1) Water dispenser you don't have to tip pitchers to fill.
2) Easy to clean.
3) Runs quietly
4) like ease of arranging foods, lots of drawer space and freezer space
5) very attractive looking

Counter depth perfect

This counter depth French refrigerator fit the bill for our vacation house. Like it has magnetic sides, small ice cubes and that the ice maker doesn't hog the freezer. I like the little fruit drawer. It is a smaller size fridge but that's ok as we had to work to fit in a small space including height and depth. We had a good buying experience.

This refrigerator is great! It took some effort to transition from a standard french door to a counter depth, but this is a much better product that my last. The space I lost to "counter depth" has made me shop for groceries more efficiently. I buy what I need for a reasonable time. In the past, I would overbuy just because I had room in the frig. Everything works as it should, even when we had five extra people visiting. One does need to read the Owner's Manual and the materials LG sends from time to time to get the best performance, but that is just good sense. The only issue #and this is personal preference# is the stainless steel is very shiny. My other appliances are not so bright.
