Great refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchase this refrigerator after having spent two years with one that was finally listed as a lemon. Our previous unit, not an LG, broke down every three months with the same problem. Thankfully, this unit has been working properly and consistently ever since we bought it. It is a great refrigerator and is so efficient that I am not considering purchasing an extended warranty. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My hubby bought this frig for me 3 months ago and it stays cold and all but the freezer door wheels are not up to par they fall out, break etc. and draw won't roll correct. And it needs more shelves on the doors. Also the freezer is unorganized no matter how you try you can't

Trade Offs

I bought this a year ago. I specifically looked for a counter height refrigerator solely because the refrigerator was too close to the kitchen entry door to accommodate anything larger. The trade off for fit is the much smaller interior space. One of the shelves retracts so if you have a tall pitcher, it can be accommodated. I wanted an ice dispenser, knowing the problems most refrigerators have with their ice makers. The positive is that the ice maker does not take up any interior space, it is located in the door. The minuses, if you are an infrequent user, the ice maker will jam occasionally & you have to shake the container, or remove it to clear the ice over the hole. The water dispenser spouts juts out & unless you are familiar with it, you will place the cup in the wrong place & water spurts out on the floor.
Pros: Style/Design

Poor design kills the beauty

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this for a new construction home after researching on the internet as I was unable to find one locally on display. While the exterior design and the style seemed perfect for the needs or our household of two, I was not prepared for just how small it is! The interior drawers are so shallow that a stalk of celery cannot fit in the produce drawer- instead I must put it horizontally in the deli drawer. The center drawer fits a 1lb. Package of butter and little else. While the two produce drawers are lucky to hold a head of lettuce. It would have been better to have just two larger, more useful drawers.
Additionally, the design of the ice/water dispenser is also wrong. Water shoots out over my floor nearly every time anyone tries to use it. People expect to hold the glass over- or rest it on- the shelf...but water will miss it if they try that! I am very disappointed with this purchase. I bought LG because I loved the LG side by side I had in my last house..( THAT water dispenser was fine!)...too bad this did not compare with that quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I I have had my fridge, now for about 6 months, and it has been the best, one I,ve had, ice never runs out, keeps food perfect, and i love the crisper , my salad ingredients stay crisp longer, and there's plenty of space, including the door space, also love the freezer space very convent, and the cabinet depth, doesn't effect the storage.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator on sale a little over a month ago and I LOVE it! After reading reviews about the ice machine/water dispenser not working properly, I still decided to give it a try. I installed the water line as directed in the LG guide and I haven't had any problems with it at all. It's not smudge proof so if your a clean freak and there are dirty/messy hands in the family, cleaning it will be a constant chore, LOL :)
