Broke after 3 years

I had this microwave for less than 3 years and the fuse started blowing when I opened the microwave door. I replaced the fuse and the door switches and now the microwave is making a weird hissing noise! This is not the first time I had a problem with Frigidaire appliances. I will never buy anything by Frigidaire anymore! Worst appliance company ever.

Do Not Purchase

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product came with a new renovated kitchen stove/dishwasher and microwave. Less than 2 years later. We have started to experience it tripping our circuit breaker every 48 hours. We initially thought we had electrical issues only to find out it is specific to the microwave. Replacement is inevitable and hopefully it won't burn out our outlet in the process. Extremely disappointed in the product.

Don’t buy

It came with my home, less than two years and it stopped working. Blows breaker every time you press start. Had technician come out and repair. Such a waste of money.

Awful!!

Don’t waste your time or money! This item as others have stated was installed by our builder after our home was built. It began tripping the breaker but now it doesn’t work at all. It’s been only a little more than three years!! Never again Frigidaire!!!!!

Inexpensive Basic MW with a bad feature

The basic operation is OK. It heats food. The MW looks nice andgoes well with the other appliances. However, The door sticks and does not open smoothly. You have to pull straight out so short kids have trouble. The beeper is very loud, it can't be stopped, it can't be turned down, and it can't be programmed for one beep. It is really annoying. I can't recommend this model,but now I'm stuck with it.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don’t Waste Your Miney

We got this microwave with our builders package just over two years ago and now the heating trips our breaker every time you hit start. The fan, lights and timer all work but the moment you try to heat food power is gone. If this was 10 or even 5 years old I could understand a problem like this occurring but not on a unit basically two years old. Worthless piece of junk, my family will never buy Frigidaire products again and will be replacing all of our current working ones too!
Not worth the money and horrible quality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Died after power outage

I bought this in 2017 during a major renovation. After a recent power outage the microwave will not start. Circuit and outlet work fine. Very disappointed and see this is an issue with this model. I have already had to replace a Frigidaire dishwasher within six months of purchase and now two years later have to replace the microwave. Slowly switching out products to KitchenAid. So disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unreliable microwave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave came with my new home. Within two years, it started tripping the breaker. Had an electrician out and our wiring was fine. We had microwave repairmen come out to fix it 5 times. All of the wiring was changed out of the microwave and it still continued to trip the breaker. Avoid this microwave at all costs!
