BEEP BEEP

the microwave just started to beep every 10-20 minutes for no reason. I have looked all through the manual and can not fine what the 2 beeps mean. The Clock is faulty too. the time will never keep up with other clocks. After ten minutes the clock has lost a minute compared to other clocks. I will never purchase or endorse Frigidaire until this is resolved.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Ok product but limited customization

Overall the microwave operates just fine however there are a few areas where Frigidaire has cut costs and it shows. The End of Cycle beep is loud, long and very annoying. Every other microwave oven I've owned allowed me to adjust the volume or cancel the beep entirely. This one does not allow that option. I am up early and the others in my household are awakened by the ear-piercing sound of the end of cycle beep so I have to watch the timer and open the door before the time is completed to keep it from starting the glass-shattering beeping. A simple software modification could correct this issue but Frigidaire has chosen to ignore the many complaints about this issue. Another disappointment with the device is that the fan runs loud on both the high and low settings. I live about 10 minutes from an airport and they called and asked me to turn off the fan because it was so loud they couldn't hear the jet engines roar. I guess they prefer hearing that sound to the roar of my microwave fan. The unit looks good, has good controls and cooks as it should but the two items I mentioned above make it a less-than-desirable purchase.

Our new home came equipped with Frigidaire appliances and so far, we love them. This OTR microwave accomplishes everything that we need it to.

JenR, welcome to the Frigidaire family! Your model comes with the auto-start heat sensor vent fan! This means, if the temperature gets too hot around the microwave oven, the fan in the exhaust vent hood will automatically turn on at the low setting to cool the oven. How amazing! We bought this a month ago and so far we have had no issues at all with it. The template to mount didn't work the best but we got it to work. Very easy to operate and clean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is the 3rd or 4th frigidaire microwave I have bought (multiple moves and houses) and have pleased with all of them.

Easy to use space saver

As a mothers day present, I finally got one. Kinda a pain to install but worth the time. Has the option that you dont have to vent out exhaust from house but I wish we did because the exhaust sucks without it being done that way

i got this product with the purchase of my new home the 30sec,1-3min buttons are very useful. vent is loud just like any other vent but works and sucks great.

Easy to read menu and 2 stage exhaust fan

This is an excellent replacement for the 16 year Frigidaire Microwave that finally gave out. There are numerous new buttons for cooking, plus the best feature is the 2 stage exhaust fan which helps tremendously.
