Good microwave, annoying beep

This microwave was installed in the condo where I moved in the fall. It's a good product and works fine. The 1-touch buttons are convenient, though the lettering could have a higher contrast for legibility. The real problem is the loud beep at the end of the cooking time, actually three long beeps that aren't interrupted when the door is opened. On my microwave there's no menu option to defeat it. It's not that easy to live with. I hope Frigidaire changes this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This microwave was already installed in new construction when I bought the home..
The cooking features of the oven seem to be fine, but the exhaust fan is aggravating loud even on low speed.

Quiet microwave except for the annoying "end signa

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave is perfect and quiet! Works great for reheats and vegetable cooking. But the "end" signal beep is way too long, we race to hit cancel so we don't have to listen to it. I also like the 1,2and 3 minute auto start buttons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Installing this over the range microwave transformed our kitchen by freeing up counter space. The microwave was easy to install with good detailed instructions and templates provided. Its operation is quiet while heating. It is much quieter than the microwave it replaced. Its down side is the 3 long beep sequence that occurs at the end of the heating cycle whether you open the door or not.
It would be a greater appliance if the beeping would stop as soon as the door is opened or the Stop Button is pressed.

Am a bit concerned about quality as this is the same basic one that previous owners had installed and it ceased working after about 24 months. But so far is working fine (about 4 months).
