Touchpad buttons almost impossible to see

We just bought all stainless appliances. We bought a frigidaire gas stove so we decided to go with the frigidaire over the stove microwave. We have only had it about 2 weeks. I CANNOT see the touch pad buttons without turning on the kitchen light. It is SO INCONVENIENT! Haven't used it much because of this. I would not buy this again!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
