Decent, NEEDS IFTTT Integration to be Great

Set-up was simple and the product works as advertised however I would only classify it as an average product right now. To push it into the Excellent / Must Have category Chamberlain/Liftmaster need to add IFTTT integration. Once this piece of the puzzle is added this will be a game changer!
Pros: easy set-up, works
Cons: no ifttt integration
I would recommend this to a friend!

Has Problems with gigabit switches

I updated an old ethernet switch with a new gigabit switch. The myq device no longer would connect to the internet. I had to hook my old switch to the new gigabit switch in order for it to work again.

No open api support

I really wanted to use this device to connect with my smartthings hub only to find it isn't supported.. in fact.. actively blocked :( at the very least I need IFTTT support.. I don't want to have to have yet another app on my phone to see the status of my garage and control it when the possibilities of an open API would allow me to not even need touch my phone to be told that i might of left my garage open or trigger turning on lights from other IFTTT systems (not the only light device supported..)
Pros: neat
Cons: no ifttt support, closed api, no support for creative individual hackers
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

No IFTTT support

Other products on the market support IFTTT integration, but not this one and it sounds like there are no plans on Chamberlains part to integrate.
No geofencing, no ability to check if doors are closed at a certain time.
This is just a smartphone door opener.
Pros: easy
Cons: no ifttt, no geofencing
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great Addition

We had problems coming home to find our garage door open. It appears that someone in our neighborhood had the same code. After purchasing this unit, I can determine if my door is still closed. I can open or close the door from anywhere in the country, using my I-phone, as long as cell phone access is available. This works great if a family member is locked out of the house and calls me.
This is a super addition to my my garage door unit, and was incredibly easy to install.
Way to go, Chamberlain!!!!!
Pros: open/close door from distant locations, easy to install, works flawlessly
Cons: takes time to access app / not a single click
I would recommend this to a friend!

Good, but needs IFTTT

My wife and I use MyQ on a daily basis. It is reliable and functions well. The only disappointment is that MyQ hasn't setup an IFTTT channel. Given the competitors that have enabled this functionality recently, I wouldn't purchase this device today.

Interferes with Bell Fibe TV and Internet
on December 16, 2016

This week, I installed two new Chamberlain belt drive openers. I also installed the Internet gateway (CIGBU/C) so that I could access the doors from my smartphone. While the MyQ device and app work, they also kill my Bell Fibe TV and Internet. I don't know if there is any way to change the MyQ configuration so that it doesn't interfere. I ran a test where with my wife watching TV, i would plug the gateway into my internet switch. As soon as i did, the TV would go out. I unplugged the gateway and the TV came back. i did this several times. If I can't fix it, I'll have to return the gateway to Home Depot.
Pros: it's cool, gives a feeling of security
Cons: interferes with bell fibe tv

No luck

It seems if it works first time, you're fine, if not, it never does. I was able to connect to internet etc but it simply would not connect to the garage door openers or lights. Totally useless - guide provide little guidance to resolve.
