I have purchased HP printers, computers, and ink cartridges for over 35 years and the latest print cartridges don't last 1/2 as long as they used to and I have put new cartridges in but because of shelf life even though new and unused, my printer rejected the cartridge because it was expired.
The blk works perfect, but the tri color won't work. Computer says its damaged. How do I return it?

Hi, sorry to hear you are experiencing an issue with HP 61 2-pack Black/Tri-color Ink Cartridges. If you suspect you have received a non-original cartridge, please contact the seller. To resolve the issue, you can try cleaning the electrical contacts as shown in Step 3 http://hp.care/2qsfLG1. If this doesn’t resolve the error please contact the seller for a replacement.
