I needed more USB ports on my laptop for periferal devices. The MK520 system allows you to network several devices with the Logitek Unifying Receiver which only uses one USB port.
I have the Keyboard, Mouse, and External Drive all networked using only one USB port.

At least half of the time it just won't type into the computer what you have typed. You can't even delete something. It will have to go back. If it would consistently work, it would be a great product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Key board is nice I like that, but mouse has a lose part which can be heard rattling around in there and it don't work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Keyboard and mouse combo has one minor flaw. When pulling the tabs to activate the batteries, the plastic breaks below the battery hatch and the battery never makes contact. Took a minute to understand what happened.
It works well, not much more to say.
