Print quality exceptional for a 4-color system

I had some misgivings in going back to a 4-color printer when my 6-color printer (using 02 cartridges) gave up the ghost and I could find nothing on the store shelves to replace it designed for its cartridges. The 6520's 564 cartridges do reasonably well in reproducing colors faithfully on high-gloss picture paper stock.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I gave this all-in-one excellent ratings because the price/performance of the unit is what I was looking for. The scan software works great, the print quality is great for my uses, and the setup was easy. Had it two weeks now, no problems. Was a little hesitant because it is replacing a wired network all-in-one, but the wireless connection is working just fine, speed is good. I can feel OK with leaving it on all the time as it draws less than one watt (measured by me) when in sleep mode, thus saving the inevitable wireless reconnect upon startup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great little printer for the price. Quality photos, clear printing of documents. Does take extra steps for making a copy, but still like it's ove4rall performance.
Pros: Affordable, Lightweight

If I had to choose the perfect printer for my needs, this would be it. The only feature I have not used yet is the Efax. All of the other features are pretty easy to accomplish.

This All In One Printer, Copier, Scanner is much better than my old one was, everything you do is much sharper and has different programs on it for your computer. I would highly recommend it.

why is it missing photo black?

One of the reasons I went with the 6520 was the absence of fax and the large number of 564xl cartidges I had from the previous all-in-one, the 309. Surprised by the missing photo cartridge.. Too early to tell anything about printing except it didn't get worse. Haven't printed any photos yet.
