I finally bought this product for myself. Had bought one two years ago for my son-in-law, the BBQ King, and have tasted chicken, pulled pork, road pork and a few other items which delighted all of us. He cooks in it every chance he gets - and everything comes out just great, with compliments from all who taste them. I have now made whole chicken, chicken drum sticks and pulled pork in mine and love it!!!!!!!!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Way better than oil frying

I helped fry turkeys for 11 years on Thanksgiving at our church for the local food bank and loved the taste but didn't care for the cleanup. I have seen these at the local stores for years and this year I decided to purchase one. I read countless reviews and liked what I was reading. It was easy to assemble and lit on the first try. I test-drove it with a chicken and the result was very good. I did a 13lb. turkey on Thanksgiving day and it was every bit as good, or better, than an oil fried bird. Clean up took me ten minutes. I told my brothers, neighbors and friends about this fryer and will recommend it to anyone who asks.

I have had a Big Easy for several years, I wore out my first one, and bought the new biggest one. I regularly cook up to a 25 pound Turkey, and It is always tender and juicy all the way through. The Breast are never dry! Leg of Lamb, PERFECT. I also cook cheap Pot Roast and they come out tender, juicy, and tasty, not stringy and sort of dry, but perfect. Once you get one, and they are inexpensive for what you get, you will kick yourself for waiting so long.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We've been using our Big Easy for at least 6 years and 3 or 4 nights weekly and couldn't be happier. I've replaced the basket and lid along with some regular cleaning and only hope they're never discontinued as I suppose it will wear out some day! Haven't used a conventional grill in several years

Ruined Thanksgiving. We were excited for a juicy turkey. Assembly went smooth, turkey prep went smooth. Fired up the Char Broil and calculated time by the weight of the gourmet turkey. 1.5 hours beyond the calculated time, turkey came out half raw. We had to butcher the turkey and air fry it in parts to quickly cook the raw pieces while the rest of dinner lost its warmth. What a disaster. We won’t be using the infrared next year
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It normally takes about ten to fifteen minutes per pound to cook a turkey in the Big Easy. We recommend using a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature of the turkey. We cooked a turkey in it and it was crispy, like frying it in oil. Tasted great too. Plus, the turkey cooked in the same amount of time as frying it in oil.
We love to cook Rib Roast in it. The roast taste wonderful.
I don't understand why people would rate this product one star. You have to let this product heat up for 20 to 30 minutes before you put food in it to cook.

The Big Easy is everything and more as advertised. So simple to use. Cooks everything perfectly. Turkey, Brisket, Prime Rib, whatever type of meat, it delivers great food. If you buy the accessories, it also handles veggies and potatoes just as well. Great purchase!
