I don't know who writes these 5 star reviews, but this fryer is a huge waste of money. Have used it twice, once with a turkey and once with a small chicken. Both times followed directions and both times they came out raw. Don't waste you money.

Both times I have tried to fry a turkey in this product, it started out great. Preheated it and started cooking, first hour great. Then it slowed down cooled off and the turkey never got done. The breast was done but the thighs and all were dripping in blood. Mine is going int the garbage can. Do not buy this!

Have liked everything we have cooked in it. Moist and crispy turkey breast, boston butt roast with a crust to drool over.
I would recommend this to a friend!

took 5 hours t0 almost cook a 12.80 turkey,had to finish it in oven

Owed all three types of big easy fryer’s

I bought first Big easy (gas propane) liked so much bought electric 3-1 smoker (my favorite) then the tall Big Easy with top gas propane) the Wi-Fi I returned! The fryers are so fabulous many friends ask my to fry birds for their holidays and parties. Wish I could by new 3-1 but not available it is set and forget fryer! The fryers are so much cleaner than greasy fryers!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Low to zero flames/PLEASE HELP

I am just trying to get everything started and at first the flames wouldnt stay on, I switched the tank and now it stays on but I dont think the flame is big enough. How big should the flames be?

Used for turkey on Thanksgiving bird was very good. Way to time consuming trying to find recipes especially approximate cook times. Would not buy or recommend

Highly recommended if you like your bird raw. And yes, Char Broil, I followed instructions to the T. Didn't leave the mesh cover on. Just a terrible product. Why do we continue to look for a better method that the tried and true oven?
