I use a variety of marinades I inject. I can fry 3 turkeys in the time my wife oven-bakes one. This is my 2nd Big Easy(one in California and one in another state). I used to fry with oil, but the oil cost more than the turkey. I Love my Big Easy, twice!

Have used this grill for the last 10 years. I'm on my 3rd unit. I replace the cookling chamber every 2 years & replace the cooking grate every 2 years. I cook on this at least 5 days a week. Just add some olive oil to your steaks, chicken, pork chops and shrimp kabobs for quick juicy meals. Also use the lower chamber for pork roasts to make pulled pork. Not good for poppets with bacon or hamburgers with excessive fat. Tru infrared cooking. Have multiple family members who have bought them after seeing how easy it is to use. I also use it to cook vegetables in foil with olive oil. Roasted Brussel sprout, squash, onions & mushrooms. No limit to quick easy meals. Yes I am a big fan.

Excellent product and versatile

I bought the old version of this product 13 years ago. The only major difference i can tell is the legs on the older one are longer and a few cosmetic tweaks; the major parts for operation (around 6) are all the same between models.
I bought in November 2010 and the only part needing replacement was the drip tray, and it was my fault for not putting in a liner. Hot grease reacted with the paint and I didn't like the look.
Since then I've learned to cook ribs, wings, chicken , meatloaf, bread, and about anything else I've felt brave enough to try. The results are amazing every time and it is more convenient than the grill in terms of cleanup and gas used. I'd estimate compared to grilling it uses half the gas of the grill for the same number of people fed. The intense heat gives a flavor different than the grill but no less satisfying.
I've been giving these out as gifts also every year since I've loved mine so much and I can't recommend enough for anybody that enjoys outdoor cooking.

I cooked a 14lb precooked smoked turkey in about an hour and a half. The turkey was crispy and moist. Not as dark or crisp as an oil fryer but plenty crispy for me. Everyone was pleased so I am happy. Setup and clean up was a breeze.

We bought our Char-Broil 9 yrs ago. It still works like it's brand new. The Turkey comes out so moist and delicious. Every year family and friends request our fried turkey. I highly recommend this product.
