After injecting the turkey with a creole butter marinade I did my first fried turkey for Easter. It came nicely browned and juicy. The family gave it rave reviews. I was very satisfied with my fryer.

I will never oven roast a turkey again

I make turkey for no special reason and it's idiot proof in this fryer! No risk of oil fires or drying out the turkey and it's far less work that roasting in an oven. Easy set up and cleaning.

The Big Easy TRU-Infared Oil-less Turkey Fryer

I bought this for my husband, but I use it more than he does. It does a wonderful turkey, but lately I have been cooking baby back ribs with it. So tender and juicy. They fall off the bone.

First Review For My New Char-Broil

My first try with my new Char-Broil was great however the roast I was cooking was a little over done for me. I had the thermometer that came with the cooker but as the meat cooked, the meat started to lay flat so I couldn't read the temperature of the meat without pulling out the basket. When I did pull the basket the first time, the temperature was well below the medium rare mark I had set on the gage. The second time I pulled out the basket, the meat was medium well which wasn't what I wanted.
Though the meat was more cooked than I wanted, it was still juicy when I cut into it. I just wish that there was an easier way to check the temperature without having to pull out the basket all of the time. Pulling the basket out seems to be a waste of cooking energy, if you know what I mean.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I finally bought it after borrowing a friends twice, and price was greatly reduced. Have only cooked boneless beef roasts in the one I borrowed. Roasts- 13 to 17 lbs. on a spit. Done perfectly every time. 13 lbs. in 2 3/4 hrs., got med rare to well, not burned. 18 lbs. in 3 1/2 hrs.. Stood it up using a spit from a grill. Had to keep the neighbors away from the aroma. Easy to use and really like the results. Grill will be for burgers, dogs and any individual food items. Not just for turkeys.
I would recommend this to a friend!
