Backyard cooking laboratory!

A friend was moving and gave me this. I began experimenting with different meats, rubs, marinades, etc... This thing is just too much fun. Coupled with a digital thermostat it approaches perfection. Some advice: for pulled pork be patient and really let it get to 185-190 degrees. For ribs (or anything with a rub for that matter) don't buy a rub, make your own. Jarred rubs are mostly salt which, due to the style and speed of cooking, does not get removed from the meat. You will have delicious but too salty ribs. People will still eat them...
Also, play with the lower settings to get a longer cooking time. You can even do wrapped baked potatoes in this thing. Unwrap them if you want juice from above dripping on them. This thing just makes the imagination go wild.

I've owned my Bigeasy since the day it hit the shelves. I love it. I've cooked turkeys, game hens, veggi's, ribs, prime rib, and tons of other things.
I would recommend this to a friend!

love it. overcooked first turkey { operator was at fault } . second turkey was excellent. going to do a turkey on Thanksgiving at some friends home by request.

I've had this cooker for a year now. I use it primary for poultry. I don't like cooking beef and pork fast.
This cooker is a hit with all my guests. I even bring it camping and do a complete meal at once in it. Everyone comes over to see what this cooker is and can't believe how good the end product is. I'm buying three of these to give as Christmas presents this year.

Oil-less fryer

I have owned The Big Easy Oil-less Turkey Fryer for several years. It is the absolute best fryer I have ever used-bar none! Several friends have bought these and wish they had theirs years ago. I also have a friend that bought a different brand of an oil-less fryer and they were not happy at all, with their fryer they bought @ a discount store! They now own a Char Broil.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Accessories add to functionality, can do great stuff with any meats. Drumsticks turned out awesome rolled in a dry rub. Novelty adds to the fun. Easy to use, clean up and really has great results. I've had mine over a year and it did take some experimentation and practice to bring out it's full potential.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great product!

I purchased the oil less about a year ago and I use it for everything. (Chicken, turkey, kabobs, even salmon!!) One thing I do want to point out is that "frying" a turkey does take a little longer than advertised, but it probably because my turkey weighed more than 16 lbs. (About 18 lbs) Other than the longer wait, the turkey was juicy, moist, and put everyone to sleep! I would recommend injecting the turkey or brining it to make even moister. A great investment for the price!

Wow, I can now cook food!

Ok, so I burn water. Seriously, ask me some time. Anyway, it turns out I will be alone for Thanksgiving. Am I sad? Nope....except for one thing, no turkey. I started googling turkey cookers and stumbled on The Big Easy and so, hopeful after reading all the reviews decided to try it out. The price was right and better yet, no oil! I figured I would try it out first on the grandkids and did up a couple of whole chickens. Wow...I can now cook food because these chickens came out PERFECT. Perfectly colored, very moist, internal temp at 165 per directions. I was totally amazed and really look forward to Thanksgiving! Item to note was that it was windy so the 1st chicken took about 45 minutes longer to cook but that's fine, came out great. 2nd chicken was quicker after the wind died down. Now I am off to buy accessories for my Big Easy!
