Bought it a day before Thanksgiving I will never use my oil fryer for turkey again. This thing is outstanting. Just read the instructions and you can't go wrong. The bird came out exolent family and friends where amazed with the finish product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It is perfect. We have been using it for years. Char-Broil hit it out of the park on this one. We have done turkeys for others and they think it has been deep fried. Now they went out and got one.

The Big Easy cooking 20lb Turkey

I have owned this fryer now for about two years now. My wife purchased a 20lb turkey for thanks giving diner this year, I told her that the fryer is for a 16lb turkey. She told me to go ahead give it a try. The turkey did fit in the basket, but it did fit little tight. After4 hours 30 minutes the turkey was done, I have done smaller turkeys, but this turkey came out of the fryer let set for about 15 minutes and slid right the basket onto the serving pan and was one of the best. turkeys I have ever cooked.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I recently bought my SECOND 'oil-less fryer', the larger version. Today I cooked a smaller bird in the first one and a larger bird in the second. Both came out beautifully. They're appearance was perfect and they were cooked to perfection. They were both a hit at our family's belated Thanksgiving celebration.
I will never use a traditional turkey fryer. These are my bird cooking devices of choice for the future.

Still works great

I have had my Big Easy for a few years now. Use it a few times a year when I make smoked fried turkey. Works great every time. I have done pork butts, whole chickens, whole game hens, turkey and chuck roasts in it.

Best Thanksgiving Turkey Ever

Amazing! If you follow the seasoning instructions (I cooked a whole chicken in the Big Easy before I did the turkey) to the letter you will not be disappointed. One thing that may be a slight turn off is the initial chicken wasn't that good--it did its job of seasoning the unit wonderfully though. I prepped the turkey with an onion, apple, and garlic stuffing and a dry rub on the outside. Juicy and tasty doesn't begin to describe the turkey. Also, invest in the cover for the unit.

Very little mess

This item belongs to my Dad. He bought it a few years ago and he and I use it every thanksgiving and christmas. It turns out a tasty, juicy bird every time. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because of the cooking time. If it was as quick as a deep frier I would add a star. Just a few days ago we cooked a 19lb turkey. It was a tight fit in the basket, but it got the job done. It took 13.5 minutes per lb to reach 165, which calculates to 4 hours and 15 minutes roughly.
