Goodbye oil! Hello easy!

Love my big easy. Before we got it we were doing the oil and having to wait on cleanup and all that jazz. When i saw this i had to get it and i got to say i was concerned at first and yea some people say close the lid last 15/20 min of the cook. Well i didnt do that last year as i was closing and opening it after about 20/30 min. (Close for 20/30, open for 20/30) and i got all sorts of great comments on the bird. Used peanut oil brushed on and some tonys injectable marinade (was lazy) and it was such a hit that i barely got any of the bird myself. My advise is pay close attention to the temperature as that is the main key on "deep frying" a turkey. Temperature isnt right then the bird wont be either. Enjoy crispy birds! Also this is extremely portable and makes it easy to go to a friends house to "assist" with the cooking.

I've had the Big Easy for 2 years now, best Turkey fryer, hands down! Crispy, juicy and tender!! Super simple!!

3rd year using..even cook potatoes at same time,,,drippings for gravy !

Hands down - best, easiest way to cook your turkey

Absolutely a kick butt product. I've read reviews of cooking a turkey in the cold and saying it did not cook even? Absolute rubbish! I live in NH, and it can be warm or VERY cold on Thanksgiving and I've never experienced any issue with uneven cooking. You have to learn how to use this properly. Season the interior before every cooking, use the mesh screen only the final 20 mins and invest in a wireless thermometer (so you can stay inside on cold mornings). This thing is flawless and about the best outdoor cooking device I have ever used. Buy and use with confidence, your guest will be happy!

Great purchase!

I bought this about a week ago. I did two turkeys for "practice" leading up to Thanksgiving. Both turned out amazing. I have made three more since then and have played around with rubs and spices but really, a massage with oil, salt & pepper works great. I haven't tried brining yet but I am very happy with this fryer. I have never been interested in deep frying because of the oil/mess/danger/factors but this is incredible.

No Thanksgiving Fire Here!!

I bought the Big Easy in 2013 and have loved it since. I was pregnant when I purchased this and was craving deep fried turkey but my hubby was worried I'd be the person on the news who burnt our house down. INSERT the Big Easy one of my patients recommended it and I've never looked back. Now my first use wasn't a ball park homerun, I used a syringe and injected my turkey and it didn't come out great. My second and every use after I have brined the turkey and it has come juicy on the inside and crispy like it was deep fried in oil but the best part is you can use a rub on the outside because there is no oil to limit your possibilities. I loved it so much I then decide to add the additional accessories and my rib, roast and chicken is out of this world. We now never have left over issues. My Turkey is now fab not drab.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I bought it two years ago and the turkey comes out awesome. Better than a deep fryer because there is no mess or the danger of fire. Turkey is crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside.

I love this product, I cooked a 21 pound turkey in it (yes I know the manual says 16lb max) and was truly amazed at how fast it cooked 2hr 15min, and entire family has raved about it, it is the most moist, juicy flavored turkey I have ever ate, my family in laws said the exact same thing, I would highly recommend this! Ps, make sure to fully read and go by the manual and the suggested tips for cooking, they have a bunch of nice recipes as well
