I've done the deep fried turkey for decades and this oil less turkey fryer exceeded my expectations! What a great, convenient product. Simple to assemble out of the box and without having to use gallons of oil, this is a safe and effective way to fry a turkey. The basket fit a 17 lb turkey but that is probably the maximize size. It took a little over 3 hours to cook (10 minutes/lb is the guideline) and the included meat thermometer was handy. I used injected marinade and this turkey was as juicy and tender as the traditional deep fried turkey. A good poultry rub with some light oil to ensure it adhered to the turkey ensured the skin browned nicely and tasted great. Great product!

I got this for turkey, but it's amazing on everything I've cooked so far: turkey, ribs, prime rib and even a crown roast of pork. Super easy to use and clean!

First time out the turkey was excellent. Then I couldn't get a dependable reading on the thermometer on a chicken so it was taken out under cook. Will try the chicken again and may have to go by time or color. I like the fryer!

Excellent for cooking whole chickens and turkeys

Received as a xmas gift - first attempt at cooking didn't go so well as I later realized the item had arrived with the metal bucket/container sitting below the upper rim, so the bucket was literally floating around inside the Big Easy. Had to remove the 4 screws holding the rim to the unit in order to pull the bucket out, then I reinstalled the metal rim, and inserted the metal bucket OVER the rim. Once that issue was addressed, it worked perfectly. Cooks a 6-lb chicken in about 1 hr and 25 mins. Chicken comes out juicy, tender, and falling off the bone. Easy to use and doesn't plow through a lot of propane. One propane tank should supply MANY hours of use.
