Doesn't work

I can not get mpg4 files to auto play. I can put the same DVD in a desktop and it plays. I've tried everything I know but no success. I can read files on it and manually play some files but no auto play.
Pros: Performance
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Most discs don't get recognised, some do but don't play/read … very disappointed.

This works perfect for when I do repairs on laptops and PCs that the drive doesn't work. It allows me to do updates and software repair till I get the replacement drives. It simply works.
Pros: Performance, easy to use, Features/Settings

It quickly and efficiently does the job! I love this addition to my laptop. I would highly recommend this for anyone with a laptop that does not have an optical drive.

Not recognized by Vista. Some problems connecting to win7 computer but able to overcome.

This drive workson some laptops

This drive works fine on two of my computers, but will not install on my Asus T100TAF Transformer Book.
Windows 10 on all computers, it will show up in file explorer, but does not show in Device Manager, and when you try to open it you get a warning that there is a read security problem, I've try every vender involved and none have any idea what to do, other than that, the

Great While it Works - Flimsy

Got this and it worked great. Next time I needed it, the tray door would not open. Have done everything to try and get it to open, short of smashing the thing.
So the transport is Cheap and Flimsy it is not worth the portability of the unit.

Not so happy with this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this about a month ago and it works great - sometimes. It seems to work when it wants to and works well then. I'm having to remove the CD/DVD and re-insert it to get it to restart where it left off. Love it when it works well, but not happy with the starting and stopping.
