Amazing Sound and Battery Life, But a Bit Heavy

I bought these a couple months back, and they sound amazing! The noise cancelling works extremely well, and the battery lasts an almost unbelievable amount of time. I've only charged it about 3 times since when I got it 6 months ago. It does work without battery, but it cuts out the bass, when noise cancelling is on, it brings it right back though. They are surprisingly comfortable considering the shape, but they are quite heavy. After an hour or two of use my ears start to hurt, which is a shame because the sound from these is truly amazing. I just wish they came with more wire options such as Audio Technica, but that isn't such a big deal.
Pros - Amazing sound, comfortable if not worn for long, extremely long battery life, unique design
Cons - Quite heavy, only one cable apart from charging

These headphones deliver an amazing sound. They truly block out any noise and allow you to enjoy your music as never before, delivering on the quality of the sound you are listening to.You feel like you are listening to the music live. If you are looking for outstanding sound from your music source, these headphones are worth every dollar spent. The design and comfort are great also.

I recently received my Noise Canceling headphones. I was debating between these, the bose QC15, and the B&W q5. Being a tech guy and an avid gamer I am always needing headphones for my macbook pro, dell venue 8 pro, iPhone etc… I do my research before making a serious purchase like this. Let me start by saying right out of the box it is the most beautiful and elegant setup. EXTREMELY enjoyable experience with opening the box. Obviously well planned, and by all means they are extremely generous. They did not take the easy way out in the least. Totally original design in every way. I was slightly curious or uncertain about the rectangle design but believe me it is amazing. Sound quality is crisp clear, strong design, and very elegant. I laugh when I see people use Beats By Dre, pure plastic and not reputable at all, people buy them I guess for their appearance. Believe me these NC headphones are the most unique and beautiful headphones you can buy. 10/10 5 Stars Highly recommend!!

Good for flights

I bought this because I was going to fly a lot the coming year. They keep their promise, they make flights a lot more comfortable, the battery lasts a long time. Rechargeable, a very good feature, the sound works even if it's out of battery, even though it sounds like the base gets dampened then, high end sound in general. The design beats all other in my opinion.
I like them, they are very comfortable, except they are a bit small, so sometimes the metal arc puts pressure on my head, which is uncomfortable. It should be said that in can be adjusted so this doesn't happen, but I have to keep it in mind. I also have a big head, usually the biggest size in hats, so if this is not the case I don't hink you need to worry about that. One more minus is when I walk and use them, if for example my coat scratches the speakers, it carries through since they are in metal, it's not a major thing, but it's still there.

This was a gift for my boyfriend and he has been happy with the noise canceling features and has taken them to listen to music on the plane. Good quality.

Amazing headphones!

I am so happy I bought these at the time I did they were on sale for 165$ down from 300$ and I absolutely love them. Their noise canceling is superb and the sound is great. The build quality is where is shows it is high quality and comfortable.

Fantastic sound with or without noise cancelling

Let me first describe my listening preferences. I prefer balanced, crystal clear sound that does not overexpose any particular range of frequencies, is detailed and allows me to hear what the artist intended to record. I listen to wide range of classical, african, folk and classic rock music with occasional addition of power jazz and progressive pop/rock.
I bought these headphones about a month ago for travel (I fly very frequently) and having noise cancellation available was an important factor for me. So let's talk about my impressions:
I bought these headphones about a month ago for travel (I fly very frequently) and having noise cancellation available was an important factor for me. So let's talk about my impressions:
First, let's start with the design. They certainly look different than most other headphones and I guess that their design will not leave you indifferent. I really like the brushed steel headband, stitched leather and black housing. Overall impression is of a high-end device: well made of quality materials and striking design.
Next - the comfort. These headphones are relatively heavy and it's important that the headband fits your head well. Keep in mind that this particular model does not have an adjustable headband. Instead, H-K decided to supply two interchangeable headbands small and large. Unfortunately for me, the small one is far too small for my head and the large one just lets the ear-housings go too low. On the other hand, my large ears fit under the cans very comfortably. And I know comfortable headphones: after all, I also own Bang & Olufsen H6 which are the king of perfect comfort in my opinion. A side note is that with the larger headband mounted these headphones are a bit too big for the supplies case to close comfortably...To summarize, the H-K NC headphones' comfort is a bit of a mixed bag here... I wish the headband was adjustable!
Finally, what about the most important quality: the sound? And here I can say that Harman Kardon NC are a winner. The sound is detailed, balanced and, what I also like a lot, the headphones sound the same (or very, very close) with or without the noise-cancelling on. The bass is a maybe a touch stronger than in the B&O H6s but it's still clear and is not in any way too heavy. Now, since these are designed for travel, what about the noise-cancelling? Well, I cannot compare them to Bose QC-15s as I don't own those (and would not buy the Bose because the sound is, at best, average and you cannot listen to music if the battery is discharged) but compared to my old Sennheiser noise-cancelling CXC 700 they're much, much better. Compared to Sony's MDR-NC200D, the noise-cancelling is, in my opinion, a bit better and the music quality is way ahead of Sony's.
So, would I recommend them to a friend? Definitely! If one of the supplied headbands fits their head, they would get a headphone that offers fantastic sound and very good noise-cancelling. Plus a high-quality design and a look that is bound to catch attention.
I'd recommend that Harman Kardon changes the design to incorporate an adjustable headband and they just might end up with one of the best noise-cancelling cans on the market!

Noise Canceling not up to par with others

I have had these for about a week now. The sound is impeccable. The noise canceling is not up to par with the Bose QC15 or QC20 in ear. The only difference I can tell when switching the NC on is the Bass and Mid become more powerful. It does not cancel out the ambient noise around me. I plan on sending them back. If I didn't want NC I would definitely pick up a pair of the Harmon Kardon BT or CL because The sound is amazing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
