Still amazing after all these years, no lag!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this back in the day because I was tired of the lag watching golf and football. Unreal how good this tv still is today. You find an LG plasma still around, the kids want to play their xbox on it, it is still that good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this 60 inch LG plasma in 2011 it’s 2021 back in 2015 it went out after 4yrs had it repaired once but it still going strong in 2021 so basically I haven’t bought a TV in 10 years lol

Basic TV for people with basic needs

Pros:
Great screen size and image quality for the money. Construction seems solid and looks good. Easy initial setup. It's heavy, but that also means sturdy, I have no fear of my 1 year old child stumbling on it and moving it.

Cons:
Sound could be better. Just 2 HMDI and 1 USB connector. If HDMI1 connector is used, plugging and unplugging the USB is a pain to do, so small available space for the fingers. Video playback on USB port is impossible due to firmare, and you can't change the firmware. The infrared detector for the remote is located in the lower left corner, and you have to aim the remote control carefully or it won't work. Screen is too reflective during daylight. I know it's not a smart TV, but I would expect at least an ethernet port. Remote control looks and feels cheap.

STILL LOOKING AT LARGER REPLACEMENT FOR THIS 60 INCH 600 HZ TV. SOMETIMES DARK SCENES ARE TOO DARK BUT BEEN A GREAT TV, USED A LOT. BOUGHT A MINI LED AND THE SOAP OPERA EFFECT I AM NOT USED TO WITH A PLASMA IS A SHOCK. TOOK IT BACK. THIS TV IS STILL MY PREFERENCE

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] At three years it developed both horizontal and verticle lines. It can't be repaired because LG doesn't make the parts any more. Even if they did, they are so expensive that repairs are cost prohibitive. I will never buy any LG product again.

Tv has great picture,decent sound,nice styling, easy to set up, used setting from previous review and made a few adjustments. I think a basic features tv is best with smart features on other devices such as blueray players.
