This printer has everything at a great price. I was able to get rid of my ancient fax. It looks great and the setup/directions were exceptional. Prints great as well. Highly recommend.

After reading other reviews about the ease of installation I purchased an Epson printer. This was after spending President's Day trying to unsuccessfully install a printer from a competitor. The installation of my Epson WF-2540 took less than an hour and was completely successful with my wireless network. The copies are sharp, fast and clean. I would highly recommend this printer to a friend or relative.

The unit lives up to the quality I have come to expect of Epson. Easy set up, instructions are easy to follow and logical. Software is easy to use and works with assistive technology. Quick prints, responds well. Some of the parts can give the impression of "cheap" but the performance and ease of use put that idea to rest. Recommend highly.

Printer Failed. Chain Guide broke. (same as Jims)

Jim, thanks for posting your review for what happened. I purchased the 2540 in April 2013 and actually used it for Scanning. On July 3rd (3 months later), I started to do some printing for the first time and received perpetual paper jam errors. But there was no paper in the transport to remove. Then, I noticed some white plastic material dangling off the cartridge holder. After looking further, it was severed!. I saw your posting when investigating the warranty information. I will take advantage of the July 4th sales today and treat myself to a different Brand printer and proceed to return this one based on the Warranty. Anyone considering this printer? what Jim and I experienced, I would not recommend this printer. It's really too bad since it has a great amount of features in a small size.

NOT HAPPY I haven't used this product more than 2 weeks and we had some negative issues we've had to work on, The fact that I cant get discounted ink really astounds me!

My first EPSON purchase,bought as a low-cost fax/printer for small business use. Eats up ink cartridges like they're going out of style. Does NOT print the suggested capacity. Scan/Faxing slow, no outgoing memory. ADF paper feeder is constantly jamming when scanning to fax (average pages in ADF: 1-5) I'm not even using wireless features yet! Setup was easy, and directions ok, but extemely inconvenient for what I intended it for, not happy with EPSON! Sorry!

false paper jam alert keeps printer from working

I bought this to replace the Epson WF610 which had stopped working.
This is a little over a month old; it worked for about 2 weeks. Now I keep getting alerts that I have a paper jam. There is no paper jam but the printer does not work and it makes grinding noises.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
