So Far Great Printer

Purchased 2/20/13;Reviewed 2/20/13. This review is clearly written after installation and brief use of the WF-2540. First, installation was easy. The hardest part was unpacking the printer. It was securely packaged and taped (over 13 blue strips of tape...the one I did not find until I turned on the printer was in the compartment under the glass scanner lid). The physical setup was steps 1-6, very easy to follow and do. Software installation was easy and written in English (not Chinese). The WI-FI connection was done in a blink of an eye. The printer identified my two wireless networks and all my neighbors, also. I highlighted the one I wanted it to connect to and gave it the Key. Gzam, I had a networked printer. (BTW, FAX setup was easier.) Printing across the network worked the first time (MS Home Networked Computers). The print quality was good to excellent. Hence, I'm happy today. I bought the two year warranty, so I'll be OK tomorrow.

Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-One Printer

The Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-One Printer is an outstanding value. Making the wireless connection to my computer (which is part of my work domain) and my other home computer was incredibly easy. Printing is fast. I recommend this machine

Set-Up

Very easy and reasonably fast set-up. I liked the way the set-up automaticaly went out to the internet to get the latest drivers. I set-up wireless and was a bit apprehesive but it went flawlessly. 5 stars is mostly on the set-up experience as I have not printed beyond the test page.

Seems Like a Good Value

After doing some research I decided on this printer because it had a lot of features in a small footprint. Space was a big concern. I've set it up today in about 30 minutes and some of that was waiting for the driver download as I am on a Mac mini with no CD drive. The test page looks great.
I would recommend this to a friend!
