Excellent all-in-one printer!

We have had this printer for about a month, and have used the printer and scan features. Works great, and was easy to set up. Communicates wirelessly with our laptop much better than our previous printer. Great printer and excellent value. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it doesn't automatically duplex print for 2-sided printing. It requires you to re-feed the paper for printing on the backside, then hit resume. I was used to the printer pulling the paper back in and printing the other side, which was nice, since I am usually not in the same room as the printer. But overall, this is a minor point, and we are quite happy with this Epson printer.

JUST FINISHED INSTALLING MY NEW FAX ETC,,MACHINE AND IT WAS VERY EASY, IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN!!! THANK YOU.I AM SURE IT WILL BE EASY TO USE

I am very pleased with my Epson Workforce WF 2540. I had previously owned an Epson all-in-one printer and loved it. I used it a lot to copy, print, scan and fax for both personal and business use. It lasted a long time before giving me any problems. When that printer finally gave out, I bought another brand. It didn't last as long or do as much work. When I needed to replace that one, I decided to get another Epson. This one was very easy to install to both my computer and the wireless network. The pages I print are very clear and they look great.

In a way I was forced to get a new printer since my 11 yr. old printer did not play well with my new Windows 8 computer. I read reviews of various brands of all-in-ones and decided on an Epson. It was easy to set up and is wireless so there's a convenience factor. It has performed all the tasks I want so far. If it performs as well as my last printer I'll be very happy!

I've worked for two days and cannot get my laptop to connect to the printer. Can't find any help that I can understand. Have to be a computer expert to follow any suggestions. When I try to sign up for epson connect, which I thought might help, it tells me I have never registered the printer, which is not true. In order to get the Epson Connect, I have to have a printer e-mail address that I should have received when I registered. I got a thank you for registering, but no such printer e-mail address. I am frustrated!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Was extremely hard to get out of box. Had to chop up packaging! Almost returned it because it was so hard to remove from box. Took me two hours of effort off and on. After that, it was convenient and easy. Quiet and good print quality.

Easy Setup

Super simple setup"......just follow the easy start instructions. It is best if you know your network username and password so you can go wireless (isn't that the point).
The simplest was connecting to my iPad - it found itself.... Was printing in 40 minutes.
