Not happy

I've had my Workforce WF-2540 close to two months now and out of those two month has hasn't worked for 7 out of the 8 weeks When I first got the printer it worked well and the scanned pictures looked like the original. However, my printer has been in the recovery mode and I cant turn it off, go to the menu, or nothing. I've tried all the suggestion at Epson and nothing has worked. I need firmware and I am unable to find it anywhere. Once I can get this fixed, I will review again. Please help

Set up for this printer is an absolute NIGHTMARE. Connecting a printer should NOT be that difficult. Do yourself a favor and save a lot of time & frustration, get a different printer. If you have a lot of patients and time, it does print nice quality.

Not much to say. This is a great printer for some people. For me, the scanning documentation was impossible to understand. The original cartridges printed maybe 20 copies and then died. I will never buy Epson again.

I am having a problem installling this product, and so, as of yet I have not been able to see how it performs. I have now ordered a USB cable. I am assuming that is why I am having a problem . When I receive the USB cable I will then be able to give an opinion about this product's performance.

Poor Quality Broken in 1 month

Very displeased printer is cheaply made, rock, rattle and roll with each print. Two month light use and prints blank pages or ones full of black ink. Not repairable. Will try to return, have already replaced with another brand.

Something is always wrong/broken with this machine. Now it says there is a paper jam & no paper is jammed in the machine. It's not novice friendly. I'm unable to attach a scanner to it-directions are not clear. I now cannot copy on it-it says there is a paper jam. What next?

Only lasted 3 months...

I bought this to replace a workforce 610 that went bad after less than 3 years. The 2540 is even more cheaply made and worked great for a few months and then was fried by a power surge in my house. I replaced it with an epson
