Just purchased the Epson WF-2540

I truly like the printer and the setup was a breeze, just one question, I see that it is Wi-Fi ready , does that mean I can use this printer without the cable connected ? I did setup the printer to recognize my connection and that was no problem there, the light is green and lit . But for all else it is a great printer and love the cost for the replacement ink for it , I would recommend it to everyone .

A good, solid printer

I just purchased a new EPSON WF-2540 for my home use. Strenghts were the many functions that are possible, including WiFi, enlargements and reductions of image size for copies, and reliable printing of fairly routing tasks. I'm not into complex and demanding photos, just figures where you can identify people's faces properly. I am replacing a very similar EPSON printer, their 630 Workforce, which I found to be very nice for several years. My only reservation is that the 630 died because of one of the inkjet nozzles becoming too clogged to be cleanable, and a repair costs more than the new printer. So my only issue is going to be how long the new WF-2540 lasts before the same inkjet nozzle problem appears. In the meantime, this printer and its predecessor have given me many hundreds of hours of excellent performance, a very good bargain at its price.

This is a great printer, so far. I have no complaints. I love the capability to connect to wifi and no need for wires!!!

Did a lot of research before buying this printer. After dealing with a very difficult to manage printer this one is like a piece of cake. Easy to setup and very satisfied with the way it responds. Everything works and the wireless setup was fast and easy. Tested it with Ipad, laptop and it responded and printed as smooth as silk. Highly recommend.
