Good for a Student

As a returning student this printer is a great idea. We have a wireless router in our household and it made it to where space which is tight was able to be placed in a corner where a laptop and three computers can use it. Time thought to set up was a bit consuming...
Biggest turn-ons: Wireless, Ability to print from smartphones, Fax, Internet and Iphones.
Turnoffs: No Bluetooth, Fax requiring a phone line itself (as opposed to email faxing)

All in all a great all in one! So far very happy.

WF-2540 color printing

If you are aware of color management in color printing, this printer is NOT for you. The printer's color management CANNOT be turned off to manage color accurately using custom built color profiles by other software and used by applications like Photoshop CS6. Therefore color in color photos can not be controlled and neither can colors in company logos.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I just purchased the Epson WF-2540, and its a pretty good deal for the price. I have used it twice and its done a great job...soo ya.

Epson printer set-up

I would recommend this printer. it was very easy to set up . I have now set my Epson printer to my Macbook Pro. A great inexpensive printer.

Epson Work force 2540 all in one printer

Easy to set setup, easy to use, fast printing, also comes with a full cartridges of ink. Very happy with this especially for a college student. The price was reasonable for all this printer can do fax, print, print from anywhere. . Prints are very clear

ink supply

i like the epson wf-2540 printer in general except for the ink supply. according to the insert information one should be able to get approx. 500 sheets printed before ink supply worn out. I printed 15 sheets and the low ink warning is appearing already. The estimate and actual supply of ink printing is way off from each other. I would think Epson needs to address the ink issue. The ink cartridges are not cheap for 15 sheets of printing.

awesome printer!!! set up in minutes! also i phones and i pad work with air print, with this printer. had a dell and bad bad printer took hours to set up!!!! highly recommend this printer for its easy set up
