Dear Epson & whoever - This is my first Epson product buy.. I would have bought a more expensive Epson but the next two/three products going up the line had those "blister" buttons instead of real buttons to push.
So I actually worked my way "down" the line of products and realized that even though I would have (and still do) prefered at least the next step up, I would have regretted the choice every time I had to push a blister-button.
Figure it out Epson folk - sometimes "backward" is forward. Look at the kind & type of watches men are buying & wearing now - they are going back to the dial-type watches. Dial-type are now quietly cool and back "in." Buttons should be too..
Liking my 2540 buttons.. DP

After many years of excellent service from another Epson printer, I went shopping for another when the first one finally died. I found the WF-2540 and have ever reason to believe that I will receive the same excellent service. It was easy to set up and connect to my WiFi. Not only is it compact, but it works with the speed that I was accustomed to from an Epson. In addition, the extra functions--ie. scanning, copying, and faxing--expand its usefulness considerably. I am delighted to say that I am now back in business.

Easy to set up, small footprint, uses
the same ink as my other smaller Epson which is a great bonus- no wasting! I only gave it 4 stars as I just set it up and haven't really used it much. It is also very quiet.

Nice color & blk. prints. Good photos. Color ink usage HIGH. Goes thru magenta like crazy. Cant print just blk. uses all colors. Besides original cartridges went thru 2 tricolor packs plus third magenta empty with only 1/3 of cyan used & almost no yellow used. On second replacement blk. Customer Service sent replacement magenta cart. 5 DAYS Warranty EXPRESS Service via Fed Ex Grd. Snail mail is faster. Hoping for a bad cartridge. Print count 136 color 88 black. Why did KODAK have to go bankrupt?? I want my Kodak back !!!
