This all in one does not print out the image of the fax being sent on the fax confirmation sheet. This was something I definitely needed it to do. My previous all in one did this. This is the only reason I am purchasing a different printer & getting rid of this one.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So far, so good

Just set this printer up tonight. I did it wirelessly instead of using CD or DVD. It was simple. So far, so good. I've only seen the test sheet so far, so it's tought to judge quality. It's a tad noisier than I anticipated, but not enough that this was a deal breaker.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Epson WF-2540 Printer Out of Box setup

Just followed install instructions and had a flawless setup. Recommend this printer based on above statement. Have not printed any documents at this time!

Great price and easy set-up clear prints

I am not a tech type person but set-up was very easy with photos of what to do and set by set prompts. The plug was a little hard to get in, because I was afraid to push too hard, and the same with installing the ink cartridges. Once I used a little force, it all went well. Feeling kind of proud of myself for the set-up working first try! The copies (I have just photocopied some medical cards for my kids) are very sharp and clear. So far, so good. A little worried about the 2 week warranty, whoever heard of such a short warranty?

Yes it works!

Wireless connectivity is great. However, it does print slowly. Liked the fonts it made available. Printed internet documents without hesitation. Overall a pretty good printer.
Can't wait to check out the fax function and scan capabilities. So far, there are no paper jams (the reason I traded in my HP 4 in one.
Hope to have good use out of this.

New workforce seems less than old one

the USB cable from my Workforce 435 does not fit in this new WF2540. I did not order a new cable thinking that it would fit. The set up software took forever to load into my computer which has been running slow this last week or two. I am disappointed in the quality of the plastic paper tray and scanner cover. The old WF-435 was much sturdier. Iit does work without the USB cablebecause my wifi network is connected to the computer directly . However it will not scan without it and I will have to buy one tomorrow.

Great Multi-Tasker in a Small Space

This all-in-one workhorse does everything I need like print, copy, scan, & fax wirelessly. The installation was seamless and quick, practically automatic. It's great to have a versatile printer at your command from any computer in the household and no wires. I love it. Go buy one, they're cheap.
