Loading paper from the back of the printer is awkward for me because my printer is on the top shelf of my desk, which is about 6 inches above my head as I'm seated at my computer.
Scanning is a chore, too. The "copy" feature works nicely, but slowly.

Fine little printer

My WF-2540 is much faster than the printer it replaced, produces printed output that is practically as good, takes up less desk space, cost less, and offers additional functions. I'd have been happy just to get a printer, but I can use all the functions of this machine. Printer technology and consumer deals are still improving as time passes! I am glad I bought this machine.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Wireless Set-up

Very difficult to set-up wireless connection. Was able to do it fairly easily on an old Lenovo Desktop, but could not set up on a new HP All-in-One. Ended up using a USB cable on the HP.
Print quality is excellent and printing speed is very good.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy set up. Like the idea of 4 cartridges, I use mainly black. Plus it is very quiet for a printer.

This printer is very user-unfriendly. Help not very helpful. When I use it wireless everything prints small. Haven't yet figured this out.
Have to print everything via the usb and then it prints okay, otherwise prints beautifully.
The fax it seems will only manual answer. (I think). There is no way for it to distinguish between fax call or voice call. (haven't figured this our either) My Brother fax will answer to the unique ring supplied by fone company so that I don't have to monitor it for fax calls. As I said the help is not very helpful.

My Epson

I have only used Epson printers since I had my pc. My last one lasted 15 years. It started giving me problems so I bought the WF-2440. It's small, compact, has all the features that I use and it prints awesome. The only thing I can't use is the fax because I don't have phone plug where I have the printer. I'm very satisfied with it and hope it lasts me as long as my last one.
I would recommend this to a friend!
