What ever happend to plug & play?

So I guess I am going to have to spend the next couple of day trying to get this all in one printer to print, copy or anything else. Because if it is not plug and play nobody else will install this headache but me. But now I know why this darn thing was so cheap! Nice price for an all in one printer but it is not so easy to hook up and play straight off the bench you will have to put some work behind it to get it to work on your WF and computer. All things considered I can't beat the price two thumb's up! I think it would run faster in different color actually.
I would recommend this to a friend!

does not scan. I registered the product, reached the window that informed me an email would be sent shortly to confirm the registration, and the email never came. now, I can't use the 'all-in-one" printer for the one function I really needed to use it for.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy set up

I found the set up and installation to be a cinch. Only printed a few pages so far but they printed fast.

basically good but not for thick paper

I basically like this printer--the quality, the ease. But since it was marketed as a "work" printer, I bought it hoping to print photo greeting cards on it. More often than not the paper is ejected because it is thick (70 lb), so I try and try until it finally prints. Then there is often ink along one or two edges. Very frustrating, and now I wish I had not bought it. Otherwise, for fliers, text, photos it is fine.
