Wouldn't buy again

Bought this on sale as a replacement for a smaller Epson printer. This one goes through ink at a rapid rate. It now has a paper jam error that won't clear even though there was never a jam. Just bought more ink for it last night and now am stuck with a printer that doesn't work. Been trying all kinds of solutions for hours - nothing works!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Trouble running the wifi capabilities of the machine half the time, mainly the scan to computer via wifi. Please send me information on how to properly adjust the settings for this. Please. Thanks

Love that it has so many functions. Doesn't always print or scan when I need it too. Constantly Have to clean the ink head.

I set my printer up. It prints nicely, takes up little space and looks nice. My mom got one several years ago, and I really liked it. When I saw this one, I just had to have it.

Communication problems

By far the best printer for home or office in the whole wide world .. this makes any printers used in the passed incomparable .. you have to get this great home or office use WF-2540 printer .. simply the best .. 5 star printer ..

Resurrection of neglected unit

My daughter gave me a 2 year old Epson WF-2540 that she had used only a few times before sticking it in a corner for most of 2 years. She had left the original starter ink cartridges installed and they had dried up so bad it took about 30 head cleaning cycles over 24 hours to get it working again. The 3 color heads cleared fairly quickly, but the black was stubborn. My one fault is that you can't clean just the black. All the cleaning cycles used up so much color ink just to get the black clean. I waisted 4 1/2 color cartridges and half of a Black XL to get things working. That cost was greater that a new unit would have been. Once up and operating, it was simple to install the drivers and set up wireless printing/faxing from my PC, my MacBook Pro and my iPhone. My first fax came in just as I had it running and it looked great. And a few trial photos I printed looked terrific as well, even on plain paper. I think I am a happy camper.
