the day my hart sank

my EPSON was working great since I got it on 7/14/2014 I came in the room I use as an office to print some thing on 12/21 /14 and it would not work after checking every thing I could but no go so I unplugged it for a wile and then back in 0n 12/21/14 and it was working I hope it keeps going.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I don't usually write reviews unless I strongly like or dislike something.... I've owned many different "brand" printers... and have had issues with all of them... Not with Epson... they all sync seamlessly with what ever "brand" computer I use... I don't know if this makes sense to you readers or not,,, The Epson America website is also a plus! There you'll find your downloads effortlessly... I am so impressed.... and Happy with my purchase... this is my second Epson Printer... I still use my first one but it's tethered to my shop computer...
I would recommend this to a friend!

WF-2540 good printer NOT for Business

The Good:Wireless printing is excellent. Set up was simple but a bit lengthly. Took about half an hour. No problems just long.
The Bad and Ugly: Scan speeds using the document feeder are the slowest I've ever seen on any device. I didn't time them but at low resolution (200dpi) black & white (quickest) I'd say about 3 pages per minute at most. The scanner takes a long time to start scanning, stays slow while scanning and doesn't realize when it's finished until about 30 seconds after it's completed.

I'd say the document feeder is an after thought just to say the unit is a WF (Work Force).

Should last longer that 18 months with in-home use

Loved this printer until one day the power button just stopped working. The only way I can turn the machine on or off is by plugging / unplugging the power cord...REALLY annoying. Of course this started about a month after my extended warranty expired. There doesn't appear to be any way to fix it.
This machine gets very light use at my home, so it should have lasted a lot longer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Prints well but eats ink fast!

I have this printer for work so it gets a lot of use. The functionality is easy to figure out but my biggest complaint is that the ink gets used up very quickly. As I have read from other reviews it is also very slow to make a copy! But the quality of the print is always good and ink is inexpensive compared to others.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My other printer I had finally collapsed. Wanted a more compact all in one printer. Instructions were easy to follow. I really like this printer, prints clear, copies & scans very nice. Haven't tried the fax yet.

Epson WF-2540

I've only had the All-in-one printer for a few days and so far I like it. I had a WF-500 that I loved but it gave out finally. This unit is much lighter in weight and clearer in it's print format. I haven't faxed or scanned anything as of yet but, so far, so good.
I would recommend this to a friend!
