WF-2540 = Fabulous

I've loved EPSON printers for close to fifteen years now, but my newest is easily my favorite. The WF-2540 is an entire office contained in a teeny, tiny footprint. And PLEASE don't let its small size fool you. It performs fabulously! It is lightning fast, with relatively inexpensive consumables (inks) that seem to last forever. Paper loads standing up from the back which worried me a bit, since the printer was to fit inside my desk cabinet - but no worries: it fit fine, WITH paper loaded and plenty of room to spare. There is no duplex printing (double sided) but I've not had a printer that had two-sided printing, so I can live with that.... Installation was a breeeeeeze.The price for the WF-2540 is GREAT. I'd recommend this printer in a heartbeat!! Get it! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Very good product, instructions fuzzy

I really like the product, but the instructions, especially on scanning were fuzzy (image capture on a MAC). I would buy this printer again if necessary.

Out of the box, it was easy to setup. easily set up all my devices. instructions easy to understand. this is my first epson printer and it was easier to setup than my many other brand printers. day 1 so far, good printer!!!

Replaced my OLD Epson printer today!!

I had my old Epson all-in-one Photo RX500 for 16 years. So I wasn't surprised when it finally died since I kept getting a message everytime I printed that said internal parts were nearing their service life. I had no problem replacing it. Always an Epson and also an all-in-one. Installation was quick and easy. Nice compact style. Printing is fantastic! Clean, precise and fast. I have only one disappointment. I always Preview what is to print first. That setting has saved me many times from printing wasted pages (due to my fault in page selection). But on the WF-2540 I have to select this setting EVERY time. I am going to call Epson and see if I can somehow have Preview = Yes as the default setting. I just couldn't find how to do that. Highly recommend this printer or any Epson printer for that matter.

Overall good printer for home or small business. More features and capabilities than most printers in the price point. Difficult and time consuming to set up wireless network or make network changes. Setup with CD also too time consuming. Poor paper feed adjustments for smaller size prints such as photo paper, paper tray on model xp-600/800 are much better.
