Perfect for wireless printing

I purchased this printer for our office iPad but was so thrilled with its performance we now use it for all our on-site and remote printing. This compact and lightweight printer worked perfectly straight out of the box, took moments to install and provides very good and relatively fast prints.
My only beef with this printer would be the scanning and copying functions. It's horrifically slow, so if you're counting on these features you may want to upgrade to a faster printer. Still, I highly recommend the WF-2540 - especially for its portability and printing performance. For the price, this is by far our favorite printer purchase in recent years.
PS if you don't have access to high-speed wireless data service or want to plug it into your laptop be sure to purchase a USB cable, it's not included in the box.

For the first time ever I purchased an Epson printer. It is the WF 2540. I installed it in wireless mode on two different computers in my home. It could not have been smoother or easier. And on the second computer it took maybe 10 minutes.
Perfect print test pages from both computers clear, crisp letters and bright sharp colors. No bleeding just great printed pages.
I have always purchased a different brand of printer and was probably biased towards that brand. I have just had an epiphany. I really like the multiple color cartridges. I look forard to a long relationship with Epson.

The printer works exceptionally well overall is a great product and does exactly what it said it will do reliably and exceptionally well. However I do believe the cost of the ink replacement could be cheaper thought of.

The printer was easy to setup, had no problem with my WI-fi, Print quality very good. Auto update works well too. All in all very solid printer so far. I just installed it 2 days ago. Once I get going we will see how durable it is.
