Unreliable, eats a lot of ink

The Epson Wf-2530 uses a lot of ink, needs constant replacing. You also need to have all ink colors to even just print in black and white. The settings I set , never stay must be re done each print. Head nozzle needs to be cleaned with every 2 -3 prints and it will stop printing mid page. Quality is not great on what it actually prints. The ink is expensive. The printer is slow and always has in queue or stuck in the printer itself. Had this printer for about 3 months very disappointed. Wish Epson would take it back and give me my money back for this lemon. Requires a lot of time and patience forget about printing something on the go. I Just got my document to print started this process at 6 :30 its now 7:03.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Just finished setting up my new printer. Took about 45 minutes which included some downloading. The setup is fairly easy if you follow the instructions that are included. Suggest buying a very good quality of paper in order to use less ink when printing. Haven't used it yet in order to give information on how it works or lasts.

An awesome printer, at an awesome price!

I've had my Epson WorkForce WF-2540 All-in-one printer for about 7 months now, and I love it. The WiFi, Google cloud print, and Epson connect options are a definite plus, and make printing from a mobile device or when away from home super easy. The display and GUI are easy to read and use, and there are plenty of configurable options for different paper and printing types, including photo and high gloss paper. The fax option works great, and it's even equipped with an Ethernet cable port! It's fast and simple to use, and starts up quickly. For at home personal use, or possibly even at work or the office, you just can't beat the value of this thing. I'm definitely keeping this printer until it will literally not work anymore, and by the looks of it...that's going to be a very long time from now.

Paper Feeder Needs Improvement

Really good all around machine that does a quality job, easy to set up, easy on the ink usage and good quality prints...
The only problem I have with this product is the Rear Paper Feeder...
It needs to be redesigned or Improved, causes a lot of Stress....!

Unlike some other reviews, I found this a cinch to hook up and install in a wireless network. All one needs do is follow on screen instructions. Ink is expensive however...But aren't they all?

I am very pleased with the Epson WF-2540 printer. It was easy to get up and running and the print quality meets my needs. I'm still not certain how it will be on ink refilling....I've had to refill once since I purchased it 3-4 mos. ago. I don't do a large amount of printing, so will see how it does. That's why I rated this printer a '4'.
