Epson 2WF-2540 PRINTER

I love my Epson WF-2540. You can print from both cable and Wi-Fi on it. I have several Wi-Fi things and I was able to sent to the printer. My printer at work is a different brand and I can't use the Wi-Fi with my desktop connected with the cable. My desktop at work is not Wi-Fi abled. I use my lap top at home and at work. I would recommend it to all my friends & family.

Even without the recommended USB cable, this was a snap to get working with my laptop. The print quality looks good so far, and I am very happy about the two-sided printing. Takes about 30 minutes for those of us "challenged" old people, but techies could probably do it in ten minutes......

This EPSON WorkForce WF-2540 All-In-One Printer (purchased 25 January 2015) is my second EPSON WorkForce WF-2540 All-In-One Printer and will be purchasing another one in the near future. Totally satisfied with the EPSON WorkForce WF-2540 All-In-One Printer. Meets and exceeds my expectations and requirements.

Less than a year old, always had problems

This product has had limited use and has continued to have problems, mostly with quality. We bought this for someone who does not have very good eyesight because of the ergonomics with large buttons that appeared to be easy to use. Unfortunately it has never worked well and now the warranty has expired. Because we live far away and only visit once every several months we have done our best with the diagnostics and maintenance to keep the print quality in an acceptable range but it never really gets there, only as good as we can get it. Very disappointing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Bought a new computer. Went from a Dell windows to a Mac Air. Printer does NOT print. I can fax, but not print.
Connected printer to new Mac as instructed. Installed new updates. Still NO printing.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have had this since approx. May or June 2014 and had purchased because my previous printer was an all in one 5800 which I truly loved but had for almost 7 years and finally had to replace! This new one doesn't compare to my old one! It is not near the quality of my old one, very flimsy and has already started to fail and uses a lot more ink! I am going to call Epson to see what can be done to replace this new one!
