I usually buy (have had 3) Epson because of the price. It works well for what I need (mostly document printing). Sometimes it doesn't cooperate and I have to figure out why. Then, it suddenly works again. When I change cartridges, it won't go back to ready mode. I need to turn it off then on again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Something is always wrong with it. This is my third one, the first two were replaced under warranty and this third one is also acting up. In truth the printer has been nothing but problems and seldom works error free for long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The printer is the second one of its kind that I purchased. I turned it on, it worked very well for awhile and then the power died! Just as the warranty ran out.
I would recommend spending extra money to buy a more reliable model because Epson is a very good brand. The features of the all in one are excellent.

Screen says Replace ink cartridge Black. Changed still will not work, still says change black ink cartridge. lasted 1 year 2 weeks piece of garbage

At first this printer worked great. Then the black ink stopped working. I even tried replacing the ink and it just won't print at all.

This has to be the worst printer ever made!! The print quality is horrible and you go through ink after only a few pages (even on draft quality). Its also unfortunate that if you run out of any of the ink cartridges you still can't print a black and white copy!

This printer drinks ink like no inkjet I've seen before, won't print black if the colored inks are empty, and stopped working completely after maybe 100 pages. Save your money.

The worst piece of junk I have ever purchased nothing but problems from day one makin a single print becomes major project always goes through cleaning cycle ink rediculpuse expensive total waste of time ppaper and ink will never buy another Epson product again
