terrible print quality

I've had this printer for one year, and have to replace it. I've cleaned the heads a dozen times, and still have terrible print quality.

I recently purchanced this and when read ir was fast i was looking forward to useing it. However it is the slowest printer I've ever used, it must be me or my unit. When I print 3 pages of stensels I almost have to shave between the first and last page. Does anyone have an ideas?

I just got all to work EXCEPT scanner. Cannot figure this out. Want to go from Epson WF-2540 to my laptop... seems wireless is working. What's wrong??? is a USB cable needed for scanning????

Terrible printer

We bought this printer as a replacement printer around Christmas time. At first things printed fine, but now after only having it for a few months, it has given us way too many problems to count. My sister and I intended to use this printer for school to print off papers, but we have spent more time trying to get our papers to print out (with little to no success) that actually writing the papers themselves. On top of that, it wastes ink like nobody's business, and it won't let you print anything without all of the cartridges being entirely full. We can't seem to get it to print only in black and white, and even when we do, it uses the other colors!? I am thoroughly displeased with this printer.

I have put in two new black ink in my 2540 Epson printer and it still will not print. I paid a man to come to my home to see what my problem was and he could not get it to print either. The yellow is very pale and the black is nil. I have wasted two black ink cartridges, lots and lots of paper trying to get to print + 3 days of trying. Someone said the print head is probably no good. But I don't know how to tell that.

This all-in-one does nothing that is advertises. Yeah, it prints....a few pages, then it's out of ink. It scans...one page, then it "saves". Forget the document feeder, which doesn't feed more than about 3 inches of a page before it jams. I have had this thing for several months and still can't get it to fax - the directions don't "set anything up" and could have been written by my 3 year old. It tells users to go to Epson Software options that are not installed, and Windows 7 options that are nowhere to be found. Seriously people, start making quality products or find a new business, because this product stinks!

Very good printer for everything, I print lots of letters and pictures, and other than a slight glitch with cartridge recognition, when changing cartridges, I have had No problems ..I fax documents with ease from my home, no need to pay someone else to do it for me. I am very satisfied with this product

Quality and an affordable price. The set-up was quick and easy. Was able to print with no problems.
The end result was a perfect print job, sized to fit the page properly. Fax works wonderful.
Epson is a quality manufacturer of equipment.
I would recommend this to a friend!
