The printer guzzles ink. I made 12 greeting cards, printed a few e mails, and right away in rapid succession, I had to order and replace all 4 ink cartridges.
Other features are fine, and replacing an earlier Workforce printer, I had an easy transition.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Poor Performance Printer

I am so dissapointed about this Printer, i only used the printer for one month and it stopped printing, will not recommend a product like this even for my enemy.

Automatic Document Feeder

I specifically bought this printer for the Automatic Document Feeder but since day 1 I have not been able to reliably scan more than a half-dozen times without constantly getting an error or telling me that there is a paper jam even when there is not. The document feeder on this printer is really poor quality. I know it's not an expensive printer, but when you spend even $1 on something that does not work as advertised you paid too much. I have always had Epson products and loved the quality, this experience will keep me away from future Epson products unfortunately. My theory is that if you want customer loyalty, then don't build lousy products because those are the ones people will remember most.

Will work with newer computer's OS

This Cd took 45 minutes to install. I recommend the cd install instead of downloading the latest drivers because the cd will automatically search online/internet for current drivers. Any drivers you download from Epson may take longer because those files are compressed and zip files. I think it's quicker to use the cd installation process. In case if you have an older PC buy a 2.0 usb cable if you can purchase one...I'm not sure if this printer is usb 3.0 ready.

Epson WorkForce makes Work Easy & Affordable!

Easy Setup, Fast Printing both Color & Black and White. Built-in Wi Fi makes life easy and has a good range, better than other printers I've owned. I'm the family photographer and the prints come out great including enlargements. I also do a lot of faxing which comes out clear and precise and I stored all my fax #'s on the Epson printer easy as 1-2-3. I did have a ? and Epson offers support that I could understand, easy instructions. I just did a neighborhood Halloween party & made flyers that came out sensational. My neighbors e-mailed me pics of their kids & I printed photos for them. We saved a lot of $$$ by printing our own photos and I'm still on 1st set of ink cartridges. (I do a lot of printing)This printer is the Best All-in-One I've ever had, it does everything. I have already recommended to a few friends. Buy it & you'll Love it too!!! Thanks Epson for making my life easier.

Epson 2540 All-In-One Printer

Initially, I...Loved this printer. Within months, I began to experience BLANK printed documents. The printer has limited capacity to hold-it's-own in the Print, arena. It can be very, Frustrating...having to constantly CLEAN THE PRINT HEADS!
After, troubleshooting...you can (finally) determine that the print heads must be...continually...cleanded in order to produce a legi le print.
Not happy...At-All...with the print quality.
Would like an upgraded replacement.

This printer Epson WF2530 is too expensive to maintain. Printing cartridges are much too expensive. I only use the black ink and replacing it is awkward and time consuming.
