Broke Immediately

Had it only a month or two and won't work at all. It can't even feed paper to the printer. Jams every time. No many how many pages or how many adjustments. It fails every try. Very frustrating for how much it costs.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Unreliable

I purchased the 2540 for my son away at school. I found the printer to be very unreliable. The first 2540 I purchased, stopped working within 3 months. I called Epson and they exchanged my printer for another 2540. This second printer no longer prints in black after 5 months. I will not buy Epson again.

My Epson WorkForce WF-2540 works great. It prints super fast or pretty for pictures. It scans with ease.

I am not computer/printer savy nor technically knowledgeable so I prayed to God for help. After a short amount of time, I am thoroughly delighted with my new Epson Printer. I found the step by step instruction sheet thorough for unpacking the printer and installing the ink cartridges. I found installing the Epson WF-2540 printer on my laptop through my wireless network incredibly easy with the step by step instructions on the accompanying CD. The quick guide is great in explaining explicitly how to work the push button operations. At last, the quality of the printouts were as professional as the printer at our work. Great printer for the price

For it's price point, it's a great printer. And the pigment based ink is so much better than dye based inks, especially when printing on card stock or cotton paper.
I think the output rivals a color laser.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Just got the printer. not too happy. draft mode is very light. went to scan a legal document and it scanned 8.5X11. technical support was unavailble to help me since it is past 8pm. not very happy with the product so far.

This printer is slow. This printer is an ink hog. This printer is not easy to use - problems with the wi-fi connection, complicated interface. I wish I would not have purchased this printer.
