Literally the only satisfaction this product will give me is when I forcibly throw this in the dumpster. The Cons are too many to list. I will never buy another Epson product again.

Ink Issues

The ink runs out REALLY quickly on this printer and when the colored ink runs out, you can't print in black and white either. It's a real pain to keep it loaded with ink. I wish I would have bought a more efficient machine so that I don't have to run to the store every week for ink.

DO NOT BUY! Will not print BW w/o all color inks!

This printer requires all color cartridges to be replaced or it will not even print BW. This is ridiculous... and despite the other advantages of the printer, it is not functional for everyday use (I work from a home office 2 days/per and often find myself unable to print black and white (BW) because I'm out of "magenta." USELESS and frustrating... as "Jen" mentions on 7/20/14, it does go through ink FAST FAST FAST.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Last week I wrote a review of the Workforce WF-2540 and gave it 3 stars. I stated that if the problems I had with this printer were resolved, I would amend my previous review. Well, they were, and here it is.
I change my verdict of the WF-2540 to FIVE stars. 1) The Automatic Document Feed (ADF) that I couldn't get to work apparently works very nicely when there are at least two documents to copy. Only one document to copy? Open the lid and put the document on the glass. I fed two documents into the ADF and it worked just like it should.
2) The slow speed of copies was instantly fixed when I set the printer to print on PLAIN PAPER instead of photo paper. Changing that setting was very counter-intuitive for me (it involves using the Stop/Reset Button), but I will blame that on pilot error, not the printer.
I am now very pleased with my WF-2540. Seems like a very good printer at a very reasonable price.
I would recommend this to a friend!

So disappointed!

I am beyond disappointed with this printer. I have heard so many great things about it and had so many problems, I almost wonder if mine is defective. In the beginning it worked great, but now, only 3 months later, it doesn't print the correct colors. Colors are always dull and grayish. I even replaced all the cartridges even though they weren't empty and the colors are still printing horribly. It also prints faint lines into photos or any other color item. Again, I replaced the color cartridges and am also using Epson brand photo paper. The printer also regularly disconnects from my Wifi. I can't scan from the printer into my computer. I have to open the printer on my laptop and hit scan from there.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Not as good as i thought it would be

My Issues 1.)Runs out of ink quick and i don't use it that often. 2.) Every time I try to send a fax it tells me it failed,some times I'll call the company to see if they got it and they did even tho my end said it failed, most of the time i still have to mail the fax to the company I was sending the fax to because of not knowing if they got it. 3.) I always use Wifi/network when printing for some reason it stopped working with the pc account i use all the time but steal works fine for the one i don't use. I have to reinstall it all the time to get it to start working again witch that get old and all to have to do again later on.

Outstanding AIO

From unpacking the printer to final setup everything went without a hitch. Features such as the Automatic Document Feeder for both coping and saving to files is excellent and time saving. The Epson Scan Software is user friendly. From ease of use, quality of prints, quality of photo prints and printer speed all rate 5 stars. This printer is the best printer for home use that I have used over the past ten years. I would recommend this Epson WF-2540 series printer to anyone for home and small office use.
I would recommend this to a friend!
