No printing

A lot of noise but ,so far , not one page of print which is what I bought the thing to do . Not one . I have scanned,saved a few photos, and printed a test page successfully . Does this mean that this printer doesn't print word or notepad files that are saved and waiting to be printed ?
I didn't ask to be kept informed with ads but this appeared in my Email . I followed the link and here I am , re-joining what I didn't want to join in the first place ( soon to be spam) and signing in again . This is more than annoying . What exactly is the purpose of signing in so many times ? Another day of this and the entire machine goes into the trash . I will take it on the chin but I can't recommend your product at all.It has been worthless to me since I bought it and inked it up for five days now. I was hoping to get some help with this erroneous link , but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Epson WF-2540 - Problem

I got my new Epson WF-2540 connected and it was printing until I was gone for about 4 days. When I returned, I could not get the printer to print anything I sent from my PC. However, I could print from my laptop, I can scan, I can copy...but I cannot print. Each time it shows a red x on the printer icon on the screen and it says there is an error. I have reinstalled it about 4 times, but still no luck. I am about ready to return it and get another printer (different brand)!! What could be causing the problem??? when it prints from the laptop or copy, it looks good. Can someone help me? I cannot rate this printer right now.

Operating The Epson WorkForce WF-2540 Printer

The setup instructions are easy to follow. Sharp, clear text is printed. On the control panel, the words and symbols on the function buttons are easy to read. I like how the printer works. It is quick and simple to use.

What a pleasure to set up our WF-2540. Usually for new equipment there is always a set up clitch. The instructions on paper and on the computer were just perfect and the finished copy product is great.

Get out the tape

Just finished setting my printer up. It definitely tested my patience. Pieces fell off and the power cord came unplugged. I have reattached one of the pieces that fell off. I have taped the power cord in place with packing tape. The other piece is on the floor behind my computer desk and I will retrieve it sometime in the future. After 3 hours, I finally have this printer installed. I have not printed anything but the test page so I can not attest to its printing quality. It had better be better than my experience so far.

Printer #2 in 13 days

This is the second Epson WF-2540 printer I've used in just two weeks. The first one worked well for 12 days and then something happened to the plastic chain guide attached to the ink cartridges. It got hooked on something and was damaged. Then I got a "paper jam" warning when there was no paper in the printer. I returned the printer to the store where purchased and selected another WF-2540 printer. The merchant accepted it back with no questions asked. The new printer seems to be working well. I assume the first printer was just a bad item and that it does not reflect on the overall quality of the Epson WF-2540 printer. I have used the second one for a couple of days now with various printing methods and it seems to be working quite well. I hope that it holds up for me as after many years using several different brands of printers this is the first time one has failed so quickly and suddenly for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

head cleaning issue

I use my at home printer about 1-2 times a month. Such infrequent use means that the nozzles become clogged; therefore, most times printer head cleanings are needed. It got to the point that a new black ink cartridge would not print. At this time, I am spending more ink on head cleaning than on actual printing. My plan is to sell this printer even though it's only a few months old.

Completely Dissatisfied

I am completely dissatisfied with this product. The print quality is sub-par, it says there's a paper jam when there is no paper in the machine, scans are slooow, and it will rarely print wirelessly (or wired, for that matter). Every now and again it will decide to work and print something sent to it days ago. I'm glad I received this as a gift because I would not spend my money on it.
