Really useful, but some feature updates required

The only laptop cooling mat I found that I can use on a table, and on my lap, to cool the laptop. However, I think this laptop mat needs an upgrade in its features. As HP is reducing the number of USB-A ports and moving towards USB-C, this chiller mat should actually be able to have a USB-C connection, and in an ideal world, also be able to work as a hub, providing the user with even more USB ports so they don't feel like they lost a precious port with this mat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I work on my HP ENVY 17" laptop for many hours a day. It sits on my lap and finally it doesn't overheat and burn my legs with this chill pad. Very sleek and comfortable to use.

First off, this product has good reviews. That's what prompted me to buy it. It's a simple item that should be a must have with all laptops because it does the required job of cooling your laptop very well...especially during hot, humid summer days. There are no instructions on how to use it...which is the top or bottom, but there are instructional videos on You Tube that explain everything perfectly. I was amazed at how cool my laptop stays with this product and there is no noticable noise caused by the cooling fans.

Greatly cools your laptop

This unit is attractive, holds your laptop securely, and greatly cools it ! When your laptop idles it continues to run (so if you leave your laptop overnight in sleep mode would unplug this). A lifesaver to keep your system cool !! Glad I bought it !!

This mat is perfect for my 17 inch laptop. I like that the plug in can be moved to either side of the mat so that it can be plugged into either side of the laptop. The only problem that I had was that it did not fit into my laptop bag and it is hard to use on a solid surface like a table because it slips and slides all over the place. Could benefit from some type of rubber feet or something.

I'm using this mat with the HP Pavilion dv 7 with a 17.3 inch screen and I don't know why I waited so long to purchase this product. I can now run my pc for hours and it doesn't heat up. I strongly recommend anyone with a laptop to purchase a cooling mat and this is one of the best. Thanks HP customer service for recommending this. The shipping was fast and I know I am going to extend the life of my computer. Well worth the price.
