Powerful Phone for Powerful people

I use my GS3 in everyway to its fullest extent. I am an on the go college student and being able to work on files and then share them from the GS3 is so easy and time saving. The NFC share makes group projects a snap.
Another great thing is the use of the TecTiles with the GS3. I listen to music via the GS3's 3.5mm headphone port. So automating a few tasks makes things so much simpler when i'm already burdened with my book bag and lunch box.
In the work place my GS3 excels among my colleagues. phones. I can use my phone to play music throughout my head phones. Keep updated on my social media, and use it as part of my work equipment. the only thing that makes it better is the fact that the battery will still last all day.
Pros: Bright display, Durable, battery life
Cons: too bright at night

This phone is not only reliable (not rebooting, shutting down, freezing), but it has more features than you can imagine. Every time I turn around I discover another short cut to do something. There are so many features I can't even scratch the surface. Best to explore Samsung's website. http://www.samsung.com/us/galaxy-s-3-smartphone/
No other way to say it. This phone ROCKS!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, fast processor, voice recognition
Cons: i wish i had this phone a year ago.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing Phone

I bought the S3 late in the game (late Fall, before the holidays) but I can proudly say it still tops any other phone out there (except maybe the Note 2, but that doesn't exactly count). The phone is fast, speedy, and responsive as when I first bought it. The only downside I can talk about though is the lack of Apps2SD card, effectively limiting the amount of app space on the phone, but otherwise it's a near flawless phone and worth the cost.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Too big, limited space
I would recommend this to a friend!

The Galaxy S3 was my second android phone, I made the jump from iOS to a Galaxy Note originally. I loved the size of the note but the video quality of movies, etc was horrible, it had major artifacting/blocking on black/dark scenes, since I watch movies on my phone a lot I needed something a little better and the Galaxy S3 gave me that. The battery life is decent for the screen size and power and the performance is pretty good. I still don't understand why they didn't incorporate a tegra 3 quad in this phone or at least a quad core in general. But for my needs which are mostly media based I find the phone very satisfying.
Pros: Lightweight, image quality, size
Cons: no quad core, occasional freeze ups, unremovable att bloatware
I would recommend this to a friend!

get rid of touchwiz

If I would have done this review before I bought a nexus 7 I probably would have rated it 5 stars. Now that I know how much faster plain android is I can't. Please Samsung, get rid of touch wiz or make it installable apps and update your products quicker. Vanilla android 4.2.2 is so much faster and better. Now that my rant is over I do have to say that this is the best phone that at&t subsidizes. It is fast enough for everyday use and is able to play most any game you throw at it. It is slippery to hold and very thin, which makes it easy to drop. But if you keep a case on it, it is much better. The screen is beautiful and big enough to read, and the care package I received was great. I am loving my green flip cover and tectiles. All in all I give the phone 4 out of 5, and I am very happy with it
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: 4.1.1, slippery, touchwiz, slow to respond on occasion

Love the phone even with some flaws...

I love this phone. There's only a few "issue's" I've found with the phone but they are mostly easily overlooked. I think there could have been a higher end processor, and more RAM, and also HD graphics. The graphics are really good as it is, I just feel it could have been a little more. The price is the only other downfall.
As for why I love this phone. It's quite fast compared to many other phones. I'd love some slightly advanced options with the keyboard, but I seem to type just fine on it. The dual camera option is a lovely feature. I love being able to change the lock screen and icons along with the advanced function/motion controls for the GS3. Like twisting the phone as I unlock it to access the camera. It's a really nice feature. The camera seems to take really quality pictures for the rear, and decent pictures in the front. Honestly if anyone asked me I'd definitely say get the GS3, if you can't get the Note 2 the GS3 is the next best thing for you to get.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, not a higher end processor
I would recommend this to a friend!
