This phone is Outstanding and Amazing. Still learning what
this phone is capable of doing. I had been a iphone user for last 6 years and have come to hate the iphone. Its was time for a change and what a awesome change its been since moving to the Samsung Galaxy S 4. It is one outstanding phone and IMO beats the iphone hands down......
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!

Amazing phone so far

My wife and I purchased these two days ago and love them so far.
Pros: Screen size. I mainly use my phone (after calling purposes) for social media. I've never seen Twitter and Facebook look so sharp. The text just jumps out at you on the large screen. It fits pefectly in my pocket too (I was worried about the size initially). The large screen makes it easy to do EVERYTHING.
Durable. A lot of people complain about it being made from plastic, but I find it to be extremely durable (other than the battery cover). Feels really solid in the hand. May not look as nice as metal, but I'd rather have my phone not break, crack, or dent as easily (obviously this phone can break too).
Lightweight. Lighter than my last metal phone. Can hardly tell it's in my hands (well if it wasn't so wide). Same when it's in my pocket. It doesn't bounce around and feels really light in the pocket.
Split screen. The main reason I bought the phone. While it is limited to the apps in the menu bar I can see this being really useful. Having the Internet and text open, Internet and e-mail open, etc. at the same time is a great idea. I don't know how many times I had to look something up on the browser (phone number, etc.) and have to then open up e-mail or text messaging and forget the number (I realize you can copy and paste). Having GPS and Internet on the screen at the same time is helpful with directions too!
Battery life. It's been great so far. I got around 18 hours of heavy use out of it on the initial charge (didn't play any games though). I work ten-hour days (plus 2 hours of commute time) and I'm hoping to get at least 14-15 hours out of it before having to recharge.
Cons: Screen gets warm. Since the screen is so large it gets hot. After heavy use putting it up to your head for a phone call can be uncomortable. Obviously there is speaker phone (which is loud and clear), but I prefer the phone up to my ear.
Flimsy battery cover. The cover is extremely thin and looks fragile (don't know if that is the case though). When peeling it off to put the battery and sim card in I worried (it looks great on the outside though). I'm not a big fan of these covers being after a year or so of use they don't seem to click back on correctly (sealed phones do have some benefits).
Pros: Durable, Lightweight, large screen, split screen, battery life, customization
Cons: screen gets warm, flimsy battery cover
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great hardware crippled by bloatware

I've tried to learn to love the TW interface, but for all it's bells and whistles, it does little more than slow the phone down and suck up storage and processing resources.
This phone comes loaded with tons of bloatware, much of which can't be uninstalled. NFL app? Samsung Games? Picture Album app? Why can't I remove this useless stuff I don't want? My 32 GB device has about 8 GB of stuff I don't want and can't remove.
Swiping screens from side to side is often met with stutters. Opening an app frequently takes a pregnant pause. Typing a number on the phone pad requires a patient pace, otherwise numbers get skipped.
I truly wanted to love this phone but, alas, it's no Nexus...which is what my next phone will be.
Pros: good hardware specs
Cons: Did not meet expectations, bloatware that cannot be removed
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I came from a Galaxy Nexus to the Galaxy S4 and I am extremely happy that I did. This phone beats the Galaxy Nexus in every way possible. Every one of my expectations about this phone have been exceeded.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, thin, beautiful screen
I would recommend this to a friend!

Attention to detail, a step ahead of the competition with Air View and Smart Screen Features. I think i made the right decision by leaving the HTC One!!!

I have had many smart phones, but the Samsung Galaxy S4 is the best of all. Just the size of the screen was enough to attract me. The rest speaks for itself and if your thinking of buying one of these beauties, just do it and you will see that the iphones are not any better. This phone is so beautifully made and it's size is worth the look.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
I would recommend this to a friend!
