The Best Gets Better!!

I was not sure how Samsung could make improvements over the SIII but I am more that pleased with the real improvements in the S4.
The ease of use combined with the innovative touch-free capabilities are only the beginning.
The camera more than competes with my digital SLR and is a lot of fun, specially for taking spontaneous pictures. the ability to alter the result is also an innovative and creative idea for this smartphone.
Many complain about TouchWiz, but I find the S4 to be more responsive and more accurate than prior versions, and that says a lot for me.
Finally, the compatibility with my Tab 3 8.0 and my wife's S4 and Tab 3 10.1 make the entire network easy and fun to use.
To those who poo-poo the S4 based on screen specs or other measurements, I say - "you have not even touched the S4 Smartphone and until you do, keep your negative opinions to yourself."
This S4 Edition will be hard for Samsung to beat, in my opinion as a frequent S4 user.

Be Careful!

This is NOT a pocket phone. Because it is so large (which is a great feature by the way), this phone and pockets are not good companions. I've known two people who broke their display in the first few days of owning this phone by carrying it in a pocket. One person is pretty careful with his electronics, so I have to believe that size matters in this situation.
I would also suggest a protective case. This phone is just too majestic to risk any damage.
Hint to Samsung: Please, please, please, ruggedize your design just a wee bit more.
Overall, I love the phone...just be careful.

I've been using this phone for a bit now and it has been a pleasure to use. The form factor is really nice. My hands aren't that big, but the S4 does not feel like a huge device at all. Admittedly, there are times where apps have swipe features that can be a bit of a challenge with only one hand. Still, it handles great and gives you an amazing display.
There are a couple things I'm not a fan of with the S4 though. First, I'm not too big on the TouchWiz launcher. I wish I could customize it more and make it work like how I want it to. Having limited scrolling and a smaller space for apps pull it down. Thankfully, it is Android. A trip to the play store and a free download of Nova Launcher make this phone extraordinary! Widget Lock is also another great addition to this phone. Couple those highly customizable features with this phones processing power and get ready for a ride! Best of all, you keep the warranty and all the extra features Samsung put into this beauty!
The second thing I wish were different was the speaker location. I don't like repositioning my hand just to get better results from the speakers. Hopefully, future devices will have front facing speakers.
Overall, I'm very happy with this phone. It's my first Samsung device and it is also the first device where I got a perfect one of with no returns or repairs needed.
Pros: Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight, powerful, reliable
Cons: touchwiz needs work, speaker location

I read several reviews on the Galaxy S4 (Verizon) and was excited to purchase one. Needless to say, I am a very satisfied customer. For me, the display quality and performance are most important and I have to say this device has exceeded my expectations. I have installed several apps and all of them run flawlessly. There are a ton of features packed in, as well. Most users will probably not use all of these features, but I love playing with new gadgets, so this device will keep me busy for a long time. The Galaxy S4 is feature-rich, has a solid build, has great performance and is a great value. It will not disappoint.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, features, compatibility with samsung products
Cons: expensive samsung brand accessories

What a Phone

I have been waiting to buy this phone it works well with my other Samsung products, I love the mirror function and being able to use it as a remote is wonderful. I like the hand wave feature that it has. Although I just got this phone I am making sure that I go thru everything so I can get the full usage out of it. Great phone Samsung !!!!

Great user experience, very breakable screen

The Galaxy S4 performs excellent, however the screen breaks easily. Many consumers have seen cracks starting from the top middle-right side of the screen under normal-use circumstance. Under careful care this is a great phone.
Many features are amazing, including the tap-transfer of images. Some features are hard to use like the auto-scroll.
