Large format

Being an Artis, I enjoy the large format printing but I have had difficulty with the printing process and the over all images are disappointing. The feeder jams constantly and I use a ton of ink. If I didn't use the large scanner option I'd invest in a new printer. I also had a difficult time connecting the wireless option to my computer. Overall not what I expected from an Epson printer, and I have had 2 other models that I was happy with.

All in One needs One More Function

This is a work horse printer. The cartridges actually last a while if only printing text. I have not tried going all out on photos. Photo quality is alright. Wide format is great! Document scanning to printing quality could use improvement.
The only disappointment and reason I would not receommend is that this printer does not automatically make 2-sided prints. Especially for a printer this large. You must take the sheet and reinsert it to print double sided.
Aside from that, everything is great.

Definitely would not recommend

We just purchased this printer about a month ago and it is nothing but a headache! It gets jammed all the time. I have to try to scan, fax, or copy anything more than once because it always gives me an error message. It takes about 30 minutes to fax one piece of paper in which the whole time you cannot use the other functions on the printer.

We love our other Epson scanner, but needed the 11x17 too. It scans 11x17, which is great. But, it often stops in the middle of an 11x17 copy. We must turn the power off to proceed. Then the copy is wasted. This size paper is too EXPENSIVE to waste. It came with the smaller 126 ink carts. They were empty very quickly. We will get the 127 XL's from now on. 4x6 photos from scans were nice. You can place 3 small photos on the glass and they will be copied individually. This is a good feature.

A really good machine.

I have had this printer scanner, and fax for well past 6 months, and I have had the opportunity to use many of the features of this machine. This machine has more functions than I will ever use.
This machine has enough features to cover a wide range of business uses and personal uses. It is an ideal printer for home business, or big business. You can produce documents, brochures, pictures, or just a plane ole letter. When speed is the need the document feeder works for printing copying, faxing and scanning. Wherever your printing imagination can take you this machine can help you get there.
The scanner is a wonderful feature of this all inclusive machine. The software that comes with this machine is well thought out, and adds simplicity to your scanning needs. I would have to write a book to explain all the features available on this machine and its software. You have work, the Work force 7510, or 7520 is the work horse you need to have.
I find the wireless feature a great help with sharing my printer, and the sands disk plugin options are a great help. Oh! Did I tell you about the paper tray? Well the day of having to add paper every fifty or sixty pages is a thing of the past with this machine. As well as the different paper sizes. Do you address lots of mailers? You can put a stack of envelops in the tray and go to work, or just print one. Either way this is a simple machine to use.
For a business size printer is fairly compact, I was very surprised at the small foot print of this machine. Simply stated you've got to take this baby for a test drive. I think that you will be as impressed as me.
Did I tell you about their customer service? Don't worry it is there if you need it.
To the people of Epson I can say well done, it is spot on.
P.S. No, I don't work for Epson!

Epson WorkForce Printer
on April 28, 2012

I just successfully printed an image on cardstock using an Epson WorkForce 545 Printer. I am about to upgrade to the Epson WF 7510 so that I can print 12x12 cardstock. I don't understand why one of the reviewers could not print on cardstock using the Epson WF 7510. The two printers probably feed the same, don't they? By the way, the print turned out really nice even on regular scrapbook cardstock. (I cut the paper to fit 8.5x11 in order to give it a test run on my Epson WF 545 since it doesn't print 12x12).

Streaking and confusing key board
on December 10, 2012

This Epson worked okay for a few months then the streaking - we cleaned the heads but it continues to be an issue...plus linking the scanning to the computer is too complex... we drop everything on a jump stick and physically carry it to the next machine. The jury is still out on this thing.
